Ike holds his hands up, " hold on now, im not promising we'll be able to reclaim and keep the area. at the least we should be able to give her a reprieve while we fend stuff off and gather ingredients, but im not sure if we have the resources to keep it under our control right now. we'll have to get some maps out and get some information first, im not saying we can't, but i don;t want you getting your hopes too high either." he chuckles, " it's a deal. we can wait here a bit for the redness in your eyes to go away if you want."

Link looks determined as he looks back at Ike, "as long as that white haired creep aint there i can and will take that area back. Not only would it be best for her highness but also for the people of hyrule." Link looks back out towards the street, "ill be fine."

Ike blinks and raises an eyebrow, " i fought an enemy with white hair... taking the area back is one thing but can we keep control? do we have the men to do so?"

"There is a great fairy fountain thats in that area. I think it is closed off but if we can get it open and revive her then she will help us and keep that area safe. We may also find out what has been happening to our fairies. They have been disappearing lately and they help us when we have fallen so making sure they are okay is something i want to do."

Ike blinks, not really understanding much of that, " uh...okay? " He scratches his head, " so why do mythical tiny fairies help people back into their feet? And why do we need that? "

Link blinks and genuinely looks confused, "i... i dont actually know why they help us. I just know when someone dies or is close to death, if they have a fairy then the fairy will bring them back." Link scratches the back of his head, "the hero always had fairies with him and for a while i did too."

Ikes eyes widen, " hold on a minute, you're telling me that they bring you back to life?! You didn't say that! Holy fuck... "

Link blinks, "what did you think i meant when i said they helped those who had fallen?"

Like rubs his neck, " well I took it literally, how was I supposed to know you guys have things that can revive the dead? I mean a potion that can instantly heal mortal wounds is miraculous enough on its own, but literally bringing back dead people... " He blinks and clears his throat, " um, how long can people be dead and it still work? "

Link frowns, "unfortunately the window of oppurtunity is only a few minutes at most. And it has no effect on those who have passed from natural causes."

Ike sighs, " worth a shot anyway... The person i was thinking of didn't die from natural causes, but he's been gone far too long for it to work." he chuckles, " it was a stupid thought. Anyway, we should get going, get that cape to replace my bloodstained one, and get back to see how the others are."

Link grabs Ike's sleeve, "Hey. It's not a stupid thought. I know how that feels. And... I'm sorry. For your loss."

Ike blinks and nods, lowering his head a bit, " thanks. it was, several years ago. i guess the thought of maybe being able to see him again kinda opened it back up. Anyway, i'll be fine." he smiles a bit and heads out of the alley.

Link follows closely behind Ike, ignoring all the calls from any merchants that are trying to make a sale.

Ike makes his way back to the stall he aw the cape at, trying it on before showing the token to purchase it. He glances at Link, " ready to head back? i might take the guys out here to supply up sometime but for now, i think i'll call it a day unless you have something you need."
