Ike heads out of the infirmary, looking around for Soren. " Soren? hey wheredja go?"

Soren sits back at the library, flipping through the book that was on the floor

Ike finally finds Soren, " hey, He's safe and sound, got him to get some rest. how are you doing then? enjoying the massive amount of books it seems they have?"

[MissyLooni]

Soren frowns as he looks at Ike, "This world is one big cycle between good and evil. It's insane."

[Namari]

Ike blinks, " oh? I mean, there's always conflicts, we had our own wars to fight and usurpers to overthrow. more than that?"

[MissyLooni]

Soren sets the book on the table for Ike to see, pointing at a picture, "Look here. This is the hero they had before the one we know. They called him the Hero of Twilight. Look familiar?"

Ike blinks, " wait, isn;t that him? they look identical. i mean, there's a few tiny differences maybe, but that's seriously the same guy."

Soren flips back further in to the book, stopping at another picture, "And this one! This is another hero they have record of. Before the Twilight guy there was this one called the Hero of Time."

Ike shakes his head, " you're fucking with me. right? this is just some stories and they like, made them up because they love this hero of their right? so they painted him in all of them."

Soren sets the book down and goes over to the shelves full of history books and grabs another thick one, covered in dust. He walks back over to ike and drops the book on the table, dust flying everywhere, "Look at how old and faded this book is. How old do you think this book is?"

Ike coughs and waves his hand in front of his face, " old enough to be halfway to dust itself."

Soren opens the book, its contents looking similar to the first one, "This book is the same as this one. They had to remake this book because the text written is so old, and faded that it became difficult to read. They still keep this old thing though because it is the original." Soren pushes the incredibly old book back before grabbing the book he was already reading and flips through the pages some more, "This apparently is the very first Hero. Link called him the first reincarnation of the Hero's spirit. And this girl is their Goddess reincarnated? I guess? Thats what he said. She looks very similar to her highness. They had these giant birds that look similar to their crests despite the fact that I have not seen this bird anywhere."

Ike shakes his head, " i...this is weird. what in the hell? seriously. this is too weird."

[MissyLooni]

"There is no way they would have had the time to make such a book about their current Link with all this hero business. A book this size would have years to create and I found out from Link that he only discovered he was the hero not even two weeks ago. The day that their war started. He was just in training like all the new recruits when their war started and he ran out to help when no one else did and thats when this triforce thing he had showed itself. This world is banking on a seventeen year old who is going through his first war. I'm honestly surprised to hear that this castle has been safe thanks to him."

Soren leans against the table and places his hand on his head, "This world is.... this world is messed up."

Ike looks at Soren incredulously, " holy hell... that's... yeah that's fucked up."
