Impa looks hard at the young man and sighs, " go to the barracks and pack your things and change. you're through, leave your uniform on the bed. Dismissed."

Chris' eyes widen and he stammers, "Wha-But why?! I'm the only good fighter here! You can't kick me out!"

[Namari]

Impa glares at him, " you may be a decent fighter but you use dishonorable methods and dangerous tricks to win. I won;t have such methods sullying the name of the royal guard. I can and have kicked you out, now either you will be gone in one hour or i will personally escort you out."

Chris snarls and gives a glare at link before storming off.

Impa rubs the bridge of her nose, " we seriously need to find some new recruits, as much as i hate to admit it he was one of the better ones. shame he was such a god damn dick... well, now that that's dealt with, i expect you all to get back to training. i have a princess to keep an eye on. good day men." she heads back to the throne room.

Link smiles once chris is gone and gives a nod to impa. He looks at ike and takes his hand, "have fun with these guys. I'm heading to the mess hall. Dont think i ate yet today."

Ike nods, " yeah, sure thing. Actually i could use some chow myself, worked up a bit of an appetite." he chuckles, " i'll be back later to play some more kids!" he waves to the recruits and laughs, following after Link.

Link chuckles softly as he heads to the mess hall. He grabs a tray and mostly grabs fruit and vegetables.

Ike loads up his plate at the mess hall, grabbing a few fruits and veggies but more proteins. He plunks down and waves Link over to sit by him before digging in, eating quickly.

Link snorts softly in amusement before going over to ike and sitting down,  poking around at his food before going for the fruit first

Ike looks over and swallows his mouth full of food, " isn;t that kind of a sad looking plate there? it's all rabbit food. you can;t feed your muscles on rabbit food, and you're barely eating what you have there anyway."

Link shrugs and takes another bite of his food, stabbing at a chunk of watermelon

Ike grunts, " no wonder you're so damn scrawny. come on, eat something with some substance." he tosses a piece of meat onto Links plate, " i know you eat meat, you enjoyed that boar from that merchant."

Link sighs, already used to this kind of reaction from his eating habits. He swallows his fruit before stabbing at the meat, turning it around to get a better look at it before popping it in his mouth and chewing quickly.

Ike raises an eyebrow at the display before shrugging, " well at least it's something to help keep you going... you'll have to elaborate about this later, got it?" he goes back to his own meal.
