Ike soon manages to get there with his well laden tray and sits, sighing softly, " much nicer up here."

Link sits down and sighs, nodding, quickly eating his fruit. He looks out at the northern field and smiles, seeing it still free from enemies.

Ike soon polishes off his plate and leans back, " so... we ought to probably get the others together and start planning our next campaign. Maybe freeing another area? or i know they talked about some master sword thingy for you."

[MissyLooni]

Link pauses and sighs, "yeah... the master sword. Its a sword that every hero had. Its the only thing that can defeat ganon and only the hero can wield it...i know its important to have and that everyone keeps saying we have to get it..."

[Namari]

Ike nods, " that thing. if it makes you feel any better my own blade is somewhat similar, though it's not only for me. The divine blade Ragnell. it's carried me through many a battle."

[MissyLooni]

Link frowns, "not only for you? What, can other people wield it? Isnt that dangerous?"

[Namari]

Ike nods, " well yeah, but you also have to remember im not going to come alive again. the divine blade always seems to find it's way to the person who needs it, though it has been used by those with less than pure intentions before."

[MissyLooni]

Link looks down, "S'pose...." He sighs and nibbles on some watermelon, "At least with a sword that can be used by others you dont have to worry about the sword flat out rejecting you."

Ike nods, " yeah i guess so. have to worry about some big nasty dude facing off against you with it though."

[MissyLooni]

Link eats his meat skewer, not really touching the rest of his food as he becomes too focused on his thoughts, "hey... ike?"

Ike looks over, " what's up?"

[MissyLooni]

"Dont... tell impa or zelda but...I dont feel like getting the master sword is a good idea right now... I know i'll need it eventually but... thinking about it is giving me this weird feeling... like I shouldnt. I'm not sure if it is from my fear of being rejected after all the shit thats happened or what but its the same feeling I got before, on the mission where I got captured..."

Ike frowns, " well if you have a bad feeling about it maybe we should talk to them about it? I don;t think you should keep it to yourself. it's rather important i think."

[MissyLooni]

"I tried to bring it up before. not about the master sword but about the other mission. Didn't work. Lana argued with me and Zelda wasn't much help... I'm afraid they'll think I'm just making excuses...."

ike sighs, " not sure what to do then...guess we just go for it and hope for the best?"
