After about an hour of hard fighting Ike starts to pant a little, getting winded. So he stops and holds up a hand, " alright, call it a day?"

Link stops and blinks. He nods and puts the shield and sword away. He goes back over to ike, smiling.

Ike puts both of the swords away, " now that's what i call a workout. ready to hit the showers?"

[MissyLooni]

Link nods happily and grabs ike hand, "and a soak in the tub?"

Iida's glare focuses on links hand touching ike's as he bites his cheek

Ike nods, " sounds like a plan to me. then maybe some lunch?" he starts heading inside, not paying the slightest amount of attention to Iida.

Link nods, making sure to keep up with Ike as they head down to the showers, excited to shower after their little work out

Ike strips down and grabs a towel, bringing his clothes into the shower again to rinse out the sweat before hanging them up to dry. He washes himself off, making sure to clean all the sweat off his own body before climbing into the tub with a sigh.

Link takes a little more time in the shower, hygiene being something he takes seriously. Once he deems himself and his stuff clean he hangs them to dry as well before getting in to the tub, sighing softly

Ike grins, " so, while you were off playing with your horse i went to visit Tergo. he was tearing down for the day and said he was taking a day off tomorrow. so no meat skewers for a few days."

Links eyes widen and he gasps softly.

Ike chuckles, " settle down, we still have a few in the back of the fridge. you'll just have to ration them."

Link pouts for a brief moment before shrugging, "s'pose i know how to make 'em if i get desperate."

Ike raises an eyebrow, " you know how to make them and haven;t been keeping a stash?"

[MissyLooni]

Link shrugs, "i felt bad living with tergo without contributing and after weeks of bothering him about it he finally relented and showed me how. I'd make them so he could be with his wife who just had given birth to a set of twins. The process takes all night, then before the sun rises they have to be brought here and set up before the market starts at dawn. Takes too much time for me to make them now. Plus id prefer to pay tergo for his meat. I want to help support them for everything they've done for me..." link fiddles with his bangs and sighs, "they were already struggling when they found me... but instead of ignoring me they took me in and fed me and taught me a lot. It was hard on them so ive always tried to help in whatever way i could..."

Ike nods, " makes sense. well it may not be boar skewers, but if we aren;t leaving tomorrow we could head out hunting early, get some fresh meat roasting. im no chef, but i've had to cook up plenty of my own chow on the road."
