Soren blinks before giving a soft smile, "Well then perhaps we should hold off on a sleep over for now. For a night where you and Sothe can show us how it's done."

Link gives a soft gasp as he's startled when Ike pulls him in to a one arm hug. He looks up at Ike and blushes before looking down quickly.

Ike nods, " fair enough. though don;t expect you're getting off so easy, im still making sure you eat and get to sleep at a decent time my friend. Come on, go get some food, i expect to see you in your room in an hour."

Soren chuckles, "Alright, alright. I suppose I should watch my sleep schedule for a bit since we are due for a mission soon." He rolls up his scrolls and tucks them away before walking past the to head to the mess hall.

Link nervously swallows and rubs his arm, not really knowing if he should pull away from Ike or not.

Ike watches to make sure Soren actually leaves and chuckles softly, letting his arm drop naturally, " well, we'll need to stay up for about an hour to make sure he stays good on his word to actually get to sleep, but beyond that i think we're done for the day. what do you want to do to kill time before bed? maybe head up on the roof and relax?"

Link shakes his head before taking Ike's hand and starts leading him through the castle to a different location.

Ike blinks and follows after, letting Link pull him down the hallways, " so uh... you going to clue me in on where we're going?"

Link chuckles and shakes his head, glancing back at ike and smiling. He weaves around the halls until they reach the south castle entrance, exiting the castle and in to the town. Mostly everyone is in their homes and the streets are empty while Link continues walking south, towards the exit of the town itself.

Ike sighs and smiles softly, just letting the other pull him along through the castle, then out of the castle and through the town. Ike looks totally confused, having no idea why the younger was dragging him off so far.

Link gets to the outside where the gardens are, the sun just dipping below the horizon. He goes over to the center of the garden with Ike and plops down, hundreds of fireflies surrounding them

Ike blinks and sits next to Link, " holy cow, that's a lot of bugs."

[MissyLooni]

Link chuckles and nods, "Zelda showed me this spot when she found out I had trouble sleeping. I honestly could watch these guys forever. It's so peaceful." Link holds his hand out as a firefly gets close and lands on his wrist. He smiles and looks over at Ike.

Ike wrinkles his nose as several try to land on his face, blowing at them to try and get them to leave, " yeah, it's lovely. if they'd stop trying to go in my nose, it'd be even better." he quickly blows out from his nose and rubs it after dislodging the unwanted visitor. " very cool though."

Several land on links head and he chuckles, "well luckily for you they dont come out often. Just on warmer nights, and not even for an hour." Link carefully watches the field, "once the fireflies leave we'll need to as well. Its like a final warning for everyone before the stalhounds come out."

Ike blinks and looks over, " stalhounds? what the heck are those? an hour from now will be perfect anyway, we'll need to get to bed and make sure we're rested."

Link nods and points to where the flowers end, closer to the where the field expands into a large open area, "At night time stalfos and stalhounds come out. stalfos are skeletal warriors and stalhounds are hounds. that are also skeletal. They are pretty average when it comes to killing them however the hounds will be in large groups and they pop out of the ground when you least expect it. stalfos are harder to kill but they are in fewer numbers."
