Link grimaces and shakes his head, "it doesnt. Thats why im fine with it happening to me. The idea of someone else hurting upsets me."

Ike pats him on the back, well when we get rid of the assholes, nobody suffers."

Link sighs and stabs another piece of fruit, obviously not too pleased with ike's comment. He glances outside and frowns at the decreasing daylight.

[Namari]

Ike sighs softly, " well, you're certainly welcome to sleep here tonight if you wish." He finishes off his food, setting the tray aside.

[MissyLooni]

Link looks down and sets his fork down, "I don't.... I don't want to impose.... it's fine. I can sleep on the roof or something..."

[Namari]

Ike rolls his eyes, " i've been sleeping in your room for how many nights now? you can sleep here, seriously it's not an issue."

[MissyLooni]

Link shrugs, "It just feels a little different. Im not sure honestly how to describe... But if you insist, and as long as its not an issue, I'll take you up on your offer."

[Namari]

Ike nods, " i insist so long as you want to. obviously you're not obligated. but yeah, doesn't bother me at all." he stands up and stretches before unbuckling his equipment and setting them aside. " we should probably turn in early."

Link nods and finishes a few more pieces of his fruit before he pushes the tray back, "Do you... wanna put the trays away while I grab my sleepwear from my room?"

Ike nods, " alright." he stacks up the trays and heads for the door, unlocking it and heading for the messhall. He puts the trays away and heads back to the room.

Link heads to his room and opens the door, not really caring about it being locked anymore. No point in doing so since his privacy had already been invaded. He quickly changes into a set of clean pajamas and he goes over to his desk, pulling out a letter, along with Ike's clean headband that he had given Link the day after his rescue. He frowns as he stares at it, biting his lip and shaking his head quickly before placing both items neatly on top of the desk in plain sight should anyone enter his room. He rubs his arm and looks around his room, looking at everything he had added to what was once a boring standard room to make it more personal for him. Link rubs his face and heads back to ike's room, going inside and waiting for him.

Ike heads into his room and smiles when he sees Link, " heya." he shuts the door and locks it, knowing Link feels better that way. He strips down to his boxers and climbs in bed.

Link looks at Ike and smiles, "Hey." Link gets in to the bed and curls up, sighing softly

[Namari]

Ike pulls the covers up over the two of them, " we'll see about getting your room cleaned up and a better lock on it tomorrow or the day after. something Sothe would have difficulty with. mission has to come first though."

Link looks at ike and frowns, "yeah.... sure. Thank you. For everything. You never had to do any of this so i appreciate it."
