Sheik nods slowly, " that is indeed correct. after he woke from his slumber he needed guidance, i was selected to give him such guidance."

[MissyLooni]

"Ah that Cia was indeed correct. Foolish of me to doubt her knowledge of all heroes. Did you know your hero died with many regrets?"

[Namari]

Sheik pauses while taking the teabag from his cup, " i can't say i did. but it does not surprise me, that's the way of the hero. if time could be spared for him to live a normal life, i would have gladly let him have such, but... we did not have that luxury." he sets the used bag aside and takes a sip of the tea, holding it on his tongue to try and detect any abnormalities. When hes unable to detect any he swallows, the warmth filling him pleasantly.

Zant nods, "It was an interesting fact. Apparently the spirit of the Hero of Time did not rest after his death and instead waited until the hero from my world showed up in order to assist him in my defeat. It certainly did surprise me since I had no idea the Hero's were capable of lending a hand to another."

Sheik blinks, " i was unaware of this as well. interesting." ' why is he telling me all this?' he takes a swallow of the tea, sighing softly as it helps him relax a little for the first time since he's been here.

Zant carefully removes the tea bag and takes a small sip from his cup, "I suppose if it werent for your hero interfering my master and i would have won. That never sat well with me after I was informed of this. I lost to the princess of twilight and a half baked hero all because he received help from someone who had no right to stick around."

Sheik glances at him, " the goddesses work in strange ways, with all due respect, i doubt they would have permitted you to win regardless." he shakes his head and drinks his tea, hoping that wasn't crossing a line.

Zant nods, "Yes I have considered this as well. which is why I'm glad I've been given this second chance. When Cia was whole she was called the Guardian of Time and she was in charge of making sure that the Goddesses' plan was followed to a tee. In fact this world was supposed to go much differently. It was incredibly lucky of us that Master took care of the Guardian swiftly. As soon as the Hero breaks Master will finish off Hyrule and the Princess, using their precious Hero as a flag to show them all how doomed they truly are. I'd help in breaking him but apparently that wont be necessary."

Sheik pales and sets his cup down, stomach churning. He covers his mouth, debating if he's going to vomit before getting up and rushing into the bathroom, retching into the toilet.

Zant blink innocently, "Oh dear, was it something i said?"

Sheik comes back out after a bit, looking pale and shaky, " my...apologies..." he sits, looking at his cup of tea before deciding against it.

[MissyLooni]

"No worries. I was just hoping to get you to realize that there is no point in fighting against my orders. Call me master and be a good little slave and i'll make sure that when it is time to kill you, your death will be quick and painless."

Sheik closes his eyes, "...of course." ' not going to happen. i will not act rashly, but if there is an opportunity to get Link out of here, i will take it, even if it means i myself must stay behind in the process. that is my duty, i will not forsake it.'

Zant nods and finishes his tea, "im glad you understand." He takes the small, empty tea cup and shoves it into his mouth, crunching down and the porcelain. He chews it until the pieces are small enough to swallow, "i did enjoy our chat. I'll let you keep the tea so you may have more any time you wish. Just understand that anything you do with it may or may not have indirect consequences for your Hero." He gets up and walks out of the room, his twili creature following behind.

Sheik grimaces as the other eats the teacup, the sound of the shards crunching unpleasant, " of course." he knew anything he did would possibly effect Link, he wasn't stupid. but if there was a way to use it in such a way to save Link, he would. he sighs after Zant leaves, dumping out his tea and washing the cup before setting it upsidedown.
