Ike removes his other weapons and sets them down, having a hunch he's want the extra speed that removing that weight would give him. He takes one of the blades and takes his stance, " now come on old man, show me what you got."

Tergo stretches his shoulders a bit, twirling his sword in his hand, "Someone should tell ya to respect your elders." He goes to attack Ike, swinging his sword to hit Ike's left side

Ike jumps away from it, not particularly wanting to block and take the blow of the well muscled man, " oh they have, i just have a habit of not listening." he circles around, sizing the large man up.

Tergo takes a step back from Ike and watches him carefully, "What am I dancing alone here? Takes two to tango ya know."

[Namari]

Ike grunts, " what, impatient old man? personally i don;t feel like taking a hammerblow to the side." he lunges forward and goes to strike Tergos upper arm on his sword hand.

Tergo quickly jumps to the side and swings his sword, aiming for ike's back

Ike quickly roll to get away. He keeps fighting the other, having to keep on his toes in order to avoid being bested by the older man.

Tergo himself keeps dodging and swinging when he thinks he has an open chance. He is surprisingly quick for his size and watches Ike's moves carefully. It doesn't take him long to dodge an attack by rolling to the side and behind Ike, slicing on the way up as he performs the backslice.

Ike sees the start of the move, twisting and managing to bring his sword up enough to take some of the blow, getting tossed and rolling on the ground, " ooof...as i thought, you hit like a damn moose."

Tergo stands up straight and twirls his sword, "Gotta be. Back in the day with my trusty shield I could bulldoze at least fifty of those gross little boko fuckers."

Ike hauls himself up, " alright, we've proven you're good enough to land a hit on me, that's not an easy thing to do. are you satisfied? i want you to fight with us if you're willing."

Tergo huffs, "Fine. I'll do it. I would regardless of whether we sparred or not but kicking your ass a little did make me feel better." He puts his sword away.

Ike grunts, " so that was the motivation, why am i not all that surprised. " he shakes his head, " it'll be tomorrow or the next day at the latest, so we haven;t much time to get ready." he puts the wooden lade away and straps his weapons back on, " im honored to have you fight alongside me, even if you're not quite so pleased to be doing so."

Sheik rests for a few hours, waking and managing to sit up without nearly passing out from weakness and pain. he swings his feet off the bed and leans over, pacing himself as he tests out his body to see how bad of shape he's still in.

Tergo looks down, "Im trying to forgive...its what the kid would want im sure."

Zant enters the room and seemingly ignores sheik as he goes over to the fairies, looking through them all

Ike sighs, " trust me, if i could go back and change what happened, i would. It wasn't much easier for me, i may not have known him as long as you have, but i'd kinda taken him under my wing, you know? i don;t even remember the first few days after, i just...drank myself into a stupor."


Sheik blinks and watches him, "...may i ask what you're doing?"
