Sothe closes his eyes to rest with her.

Ganon gets ready, heading out in front of the castle to look over the army, " Cia! make a portal."

Ike flinches, " probably better that way. now come on, lets try and get some food into you."

Impa nods, " yes. we're in a much better position than we were."

Link nods and sits down where he put his tray and he begins to nibble at his food, "so... who are you exactly? Your outfit makes me think you are not from here."

Cia makes a portal and blinks as she looks at it, "the portal took us as far as the kingdom however i cant seem to get it any closer to their castle."

Ganon growls, " fine, we'll travel on foot the rest of the way."

Ike chuckles, " you'd be correct. My name is Ike, i come from another world entirely. me and a few of my men were brought here because they needed help."

Link nods and keeps nibbling, "how did you get here if you came from another world?"

Cia nods and makes the portal large enough for everyone to go through, "alright we're all set!"

Ganon goes through and looks around, " those cowards set up barriers."

Ike blinks, " ah, one of the girls, her name is Lana, she's got the ability to create portals to different places, and evidently to different worlds. we didn;t exactly get a choice in it, but we're here to stay until the fight is over. in my world we're mercenaries anyway.

Link gasps softly, "thats so cool!"

A bokoblin curiously goes over to the barrier and pokes it only to give a sharp cry before he dies.

The other bokoblins stare at where their friend was just killed and they all take a step back.

Cia huffs, "that bitch."

Ike chuckles, " i guess it is. can;t say i thought so at first, i was pretty peeved. though i can;t easily say no to people in need. oh well, it is what it is, here we are." he eats from his own plate.


Ganon grits his teeth, " so that's it? we can;t break it?"

Cia looks at ganon, "its a light barrier made by the princess. I dont have anything strong enough to break through it."

Link finishes nibbling on his food and he shudders, "i think i better stop before this body stops for me..."

The master sword flickers against links hip and link looks down at it, "The sword... says that once she runs out of power she will be sleeping until your link wakes up. Which... will be a long time. She says... to... go get advice from a nurse and mention... cata... catatonic...stew...stupor? Ahh sword, i dont know all these big words."

Ganon grits his teeth, " then we'll have to wait until she takes it down. we go back and gather as many forces as we can."

Ike nods, " well at least you got something in you..." he blinks and nods, " alright...catatonic stupor, i've got it. maybe... you ought to lie down before that happens?"

Cia sighs and nods. She and the other bokoblins go back through the portal.

Link nods and gets up, "i suppose this has been the second time i have had to help one of the heroes after me." 
He goes over to his bed and lays down, fluffing the pillow so he's sitting up, "hey ike, thanks for helpin' out this hero. I'm sure he appreciates it."

Ganon arrives back at his castle, fuming silently as he takes a seat back on his throne.


Ike nods, " well im sure they appreciate it. it's good of you to do that." he rubs his neck, " yeah. just wish i could do more..."

Link nods, "yeah i... i feel the same way honestly. Even after my death i cant help but find a way to keep helping and yet... it still doesn't feel like its enough." He sighs and looks up at the ceiling, "okay.... think i'm ready."

The sword stops glowing and turns cold once more.

Links eyes turn vacant once more and his body turns slack.

Ike grits his teeth and gets up, taking the trays of food back and dumping the leftovers before putting the trays away and heading to the infirmary to find a nurse.

The nurses in the infirmary are getting the area cleaned up and sanitized.

Aria goes over the paperwork, "Nolee, i need you to sign off on these before you leave today."

A tall girl nods as she changes bed linen, "understood boss."

Ike goes over to Aria, " um, hey. so we just retrieved Link, i need you to look him over. He might be in a catatonic stupor? not to mention he looks seriously malnourished. He's in his room..."
