Ike nods, " it's not easy, that's for sure. so he does seem to react to things he really likes, for example watermelon and sitting on the roof. Tergo suggested that maybe your singing would be something he'd enjoy, if you don;t mind visiting him."

May blinks and rubs the back of her head, blushing, "Thats so embarrassing....I havent sung to him in years..."

Ike smiles, " well you don;t have to, if there's any idea you have for other things we can do for him please let me know. I got some of Tergos smoked meat hoping the scent might entice him. so yeah, if you want to, you can, but don;t feel obligated."

May looks at Ike and nods, "Alright... I'll see what I can do. Thank you for telling me that bit of info."

He nods, " yeah, of course. we're doing all we can for him, so if you or your husband want to visit im sure he'd enjoy that. not sure you should bring the kids, i mean i know he'd like it but im not sure they'd understand. anyway it was nice seeing you regardless."

May nods before blinking, "Hold on a minute." She leaves the door open as she heads inside, disappearing for a few minutes before she returns with a well used Cuckoo plush, "Link would... sleep with this almost every night. He really does love these little things. Maybe he wouldn't mind having this again..." She holds it out to Ike.

Ike blinks and smiles, " im sure he'll be very happy to have it, thank you." he carefully takes the toy, " i'll get this to him right away then." he tucks the toy under his arm, " have a wonderful day."

May nods, "You as well." She gives Ike a quick hug before letting him go.

Ike returns the hug before heading back, satisfied with the two items he has for Link. He soon gets back to Links room, " hey buddy, guess what i got for you? some of Tergos smoked meat... smells good doesn't it? and May gave me something special for you. I guess you liked this chicken toy when you were littler." he sets the toy against Links side, " now you've got a bed buddy all the time hm?"

Soren pauses from his reading and looks at Ike, "Do you want me to step out for a bit?"

Link's eyes blink and he turns his head to look at the Cuckoo.

Ike shrugs, " you don;t have to." he smiles when he sees Link move, " yeah, it's your chicken toy!" He takes one of Links arms and tucks it into the crook of it, " guess she was right, you really do like this."

Soren looks at Link and smiles, "It is a cute little chicken thats for sure." He leans back in his seat and sighs, "Its a shame their health potions only affected physical wounds... It'd be nice if Link could just wake up from this."

Link just keeps staring at the little plush toy

Ike nods, " yeah, not that im complaining, those are miracle potions so if they can;t fix everything that's fine by me." he looks at Link, "don't worry, he's gonna stay right here with you Link. your little buddy isn't going anywhere."

Links other hand slowly goes over to the cuckoo and he lets his hand rest on the fuzzy head.

Soren looks at ike, "good call on the chicken ike." Soren stands up and stretches a little, "i'll be back okay? Sitting like that for so long has put a kink in my back that i have to walk off."

Ike grins, " i'll have to thank May, that's the most i've seen him move." he looks at Soren, " alright, see you in a bit."
