Sheik tries to do as much as he can himself but pain shoots through his gut and he ends up falling against Zant, " nnnnggg..." he clutches at his stomach.

Ike nods, " he'd never let this out of his sight...and it's gotten dirty, he'd have a fit. and he left his door open. nobody has seen him since the start of the fight. no body was found either, so he's alive...for now."

Zant makes sure he has a good grip on sheik as he picks him up fully and carries him to the bed, "shhh its alright... just take it easy."

Aiden shudders and hugs ike, "I'm so sorry ike. Have you reported this yet to impa?"

Sheik gives in and lets himself be carried, wishing he was able to at least seem like he was able to take care of himself somewhat. he curls up on the bed in a fetal position, cradling his aching stomach.

Ike shakes his head, " no...i just...gods how can he be missing?" he looks at Aiden, trying to not let tears pool in his eyes and failing.

Zant sits down at the edge of the bed and gently rubs sheiks shoulder, trying to comfort him, "the pain will ease soon."

Aiden clears his throat nervously, "you dont think.... he was taken. Do you?"

Sheik shudders, " yeah i know...it hurt like this last time you were rough with me..."

Ike sighs, " he would not have left on his own. so i must assume he was..."

Zant shrugs, "you need to know your place."

Aiden hugs ike and rubs his back, "we'll get him back..."

Sheik grunts and turns his face more into the pillow, not particularly wanting to discuss this with his captor.

Ike shudders and leans into Aiden, " gods i hope so...im not sure what i'll do without him there...i feel like one of my hands has been removed. i rely on him for so much..."

Aiden hums softly, "we will. And I'm sure he knows that you'll get him. How did you two meet?"

Zant hums softly, "would you like anything to eat or drink?"

Ike smiles slightly, " we were both kids, i saw this scrawny kid when i was out with my father, we were getting supplies in town. he'd gotten me lunch, and i looked over and this kid looked like he was skin and bones. so, i gave my lunch to him. we didn't even talk really, i mean i yammered on but he didn;t say anything. i told him i'd bring him food again the next day, but that...that was the day my father touched the Lehran's medallion, and he went berserk...he killed a lot of people, and my mother died taking the medallion back from him. not that she blamed him for it...So i left with our mercenary group, i didn't see him until years later, i guess he'd been looking for me all that time. he was mute when i'd first met him, not that i knew that. but yeah, he's stuck by my side since."


Sheik shakes his head, " no...stomach hurts..."

Aidens eyes water a bit and he blinks back the tears, "well... shit uh... that was a lot to unpack..."

Ike rubs the back of his neck, " uh, yeah, i guess it was. i know Soren had a really tough childhood, it's not mine to share though. so i guess my kindness meant a lot to him. sorry if i overwhelmed you with information there, guess we never really talked about my past much."

Aiden shakes his head and wipes his face, "dont apologize! It meant a lot that you could share that with me!"

Ike smiles, " i trust you, me not sharing it before it less not wanting to and more just, it never really coming up. i could go into more if you want."

Aiden shakes his head, "no. No more sad right now... lets just cuddle."

Ike smiles and nods, pulling Aiden down onto the bed with him to cuddle, hesitating before setting the book on the table next to the bed, " sounds like a plan..."
