Ike twirls the practice blade and steps into the circle, " now, pay close attention boys, this is how men fight." he lunges forward, slashing at Link.

Instinctively, Link quickly pulls his shield out to block ike's attack. For added measure, he even thrusts the shield in time with Ike's attack in hopes of causing him to stagger

Ike notices the shield and lets his arm get flung back instead of resisting it, twisting with the momentum and kicking out at the shield to try and force Link back.

Link snarls and manages to keep himself grounded. He continues to fight against ike, his speed and reaction time greatly improved thanks to his training with tergo

Ike keeps up, having regained his usual skill with practice and the fighting they'd done recently getting him back in peak shape.

Ike is also dripping with sweat, panting softly as he stands with his legs spread in a wide defensive stance, " so...ready to call a truce yet?"
