Ghirahim makes some faces as the other defines the words, but at the end he snarls, " fuck you! that was how things were, that was what i dealt with as well!"

Ike sees Link freeze up and puts a hand on his shoulder, " hey, you alright?"

Aiden's about to argue back but instead he bites his tongue, "yeah. Fine. Other people deal with that as well and they dont turn into monsters. Now, if you'll excuse me, i have-" he turns to look at caleb only to see that his brother was gone, "Caleb?! Where did you go?!"

Link feels his knees buckle and his eyes start to water. He doesnt look up though as he shakes his head. He needed to leave.

Ghirahim growls, stepping closer and leaning down to get his face close, " other people had a choice, and an awareness that it was wrong. i was not born, i was MADE. and from the first day of my life, i was bound to Ganon, into servitude to him and him alone. and the law of that world was the strong take what they want, it's not only acceptable but expected. i was not aware it was even wrong until recently. so pardon the hell out of me." he shoves Aiden back and looks for Caleb, " great, and now he's gone." he sighs and grabs two trays of food, " im going to find him, so leave us alone."

Ike frowns and kneels next to him, " what can i do?" he grabs Links hand and places it into his own open palm, trying to get him to communicate.

Aiden huffs, "not if i find him first!"

Links hand shakes and he hesitantly writes out for a glass of water

Ghirahim rolls his eyes, " whatever." he teleports to the hallway nearby, looking around there first.

Ike quickly fetches some water and holds the glass out to Link, ready to keep a hand on it to keep it steady.

Caleb ran until he was outside. His chest felt tight and his muscles ached. He couldn't take it anymore. There were so many people in there. What were those two thinking?! He choked back some air before running to the garden where it was peaceful. Where he was safe. He didn't want to believe ghirahim did those things. He wanted to forget everything he heard. He found the bench they sat at earlier and wiped his eyes before getting on the bench and laying down.

Link carefully took the cup and took slow sips, shuddering as he feels himself begin to calm down. His voice is quiet and raspy as he looks up at ike, "i- im...sorry..."

Ghirahim checks nearby before thinking, deciding the garden was the most likely place. he teleports there and spots Caleb on the bench, walking over with the trays, " i uh... i got you food..."

Ike shakes his head, " hush, don't be sorry. you're fine. just take it easy. there's no hurry, you just take your time."

Caleb sniffles and wipes his eyes before slowly sitting up, "did you... really do all those things?"

Link looks down at his glass and sighs softly. He sets the cup down before gently taking ike's hand, lets just get our trays and try to have lunch vefore anything else happens.

Ghirahim pauses and nods, " I did say I was the bad guy before. Not that it excuses it, but that was life there. Take and get taken from, from the moment I was made. I was unaware of any other way of doing things. "

Ike nods, " alright. Can you walk? If you want to go ahead I can bring the food. "

Link closes his eyes and takes a deep breath as he centers himself. He nods before going back to ike's hand, I should be fine. let's just get on the roof so I can actually talk. Link looks back at Ike and gives him a forced smile.

Caleb blinks and rubs his knee nervously, "but... you havent done anything like that since you came here... right?"

Ike nods and grabs his tray, getting his food and waiting for Link before heading up to the roof.

Ghirahim nods, " yeah, I mean correct, I've been learning to live your guys way... "

Link gets up and grabs his tray and some more fruit before following Ike up to the roof. He sits down and sighs softly, "Finally I get to actually speak..."

Caleb sniffles and nods, "okay...I mean, you havent done it here so thats...thats good....I'm going to ignore what I heard then, okay? I dont want you and my brother to fight. I'm going to ask that you dont fight with him and I will have a talk with him and tell him that he cant bother you."

Ike smiles and chuckles, " good to hear your voice again. I thought maybe you didn't want to talk to me anymore. "


Ghirahim nods slowly, " I'll...try. I have a bad temper it seems... " He holds out one of the trays.

Caleb nods and takes the tray, "Well you probably never had to control your temper much, right?"

Link looks at Ike and frowns, "What in hyrule gave you that idea? I mean... yeah its been a rocky week but you're one of my friends. Of course I still want to talk to you."

Ghirahim shakes his head, " no, pretty much if someone made you angry, you made them regret it assuming you were stronger than them. i wanted to hurt your brother so badly..."

Ike rubs the back of his neck, " just me being stupid i guess. don't mind me."
