Aiden snaps at ghirahim, snarling, "enough out of you! Monsters arent peop-"

Aiden's sentence is suddenly cut off when Caleb slaps him across the face, the sound of the hit echoing in the hallway.

Both aiden and link's eyes widen and aiden's cheek begins to turn red.

Caleb's eyes water and he sniffles, glaring at his brother, "how dare you! Relationship or NOT you have NO right to say terrible things to ghirahim! You yourself told me everyone gets a second chance so why not him?! Why do you have to constantly harass him?! He doesnt deserve that!"

Aiden blinks a bit, still registering that his own brother struck him, "i...."

Caleb takes his glasses off and wipes his eyes, sniffling again before shoving his specs back on and going over to ghirahim, "take me somewhere. Anywhere but here."

Ghirahim bristles and was going to reply when Caleb hits Aiden. He nods, " gladly." he grabs Caleb and teleports them out of the castle, to the spot where they'd been relaxing outside of town after checking out the market.

Link quickly closes his door and sighs.

Caleb hugs ghirahim tightly and sniffles

Ghirahim hugs Caleb tightly and eases them down onto the grass to sit, " i've got you..."

"I- i hit him.... goddesses I've never struck someone before... i'm a horrible person, i cant believe i did that...." he eases down with ghirahim and sniffles a bit, "i'm so sorry he said those things... i have no idea what the hell he was thinking.."

Ghirahim snorts, " you're not horrible. he was being an asshole. even if im not human, it still is not pleasant to be spoken to the way he does, im glad you stood up for me. clearly the usual methods would not convince him, so you had to go more extreme."

Caleb sniffles and snuggles against ghirahim, "still... he... he's my brother... he did everything he could to keep me alive even when it was dangerous for his own health... and i struck him... but... i couldnt listen to his words. They were so hurtful and they weren't even directed at me... i snapped..." he sighs and wipes his face, "and i couldnt expect you to defend yourself... you're at a prejudice disadvantage... i just... he would never tolerate it if i spoke to ike that way so he has no right to do the same."

Aiden heads out of the castle and goes into town

Ghirahim snorts, "to be fair, had you let me defend myself, it would have ended far worse than a bruised cheek. teleporting him to the volcano and dropping him in was one thought. simply running him through with a blade was another."

Caleb sniffles and shakes his head,  "please don't say that... i dont want to lose the only family i have... "

Ghirahim sighs, " yeah i know...hence why im not gonna. and why im glad you smacked him."

Caleb sniffles and sighs,  "yeah... i hope he forgives me and apologizes to you..."

Ghirahim sighs, " well he'll forgive you im sure. i doubt he'll ever accept me."

[MissyLooni]

Caleb sniffles,  "fine. Thats his right but then he has to come to terms with his choices! And he has to leave you alone! He has to... i don't want to make a choice between you two.  I love you both equally.  Different kinds of love but still love nonetheless..."

[Namari]

Ghirahim sighs, " and as much as i dislike him, i don;t want you to have to choose. especially since that choice... might not mean you stay with me..." he buries his face into the others neck.

Caleb shudders and wraps his arms around ghirahim's shoulders, "you two dont have to be best friends but... as long as the fighting can be kept to a minimum that'd be a good start... and im not just saying that to you. That mainly goes to him since he is the only one starting shit right now..."
