Ike keeps going, the whole thing reminding him of Aiden and his stubbornness. He looks back at Link, " we'll make sure we do everything to get you fighting fit. how's the journal going by the way? anything useful?"

Link glances around to make sure that there are no random travels before looking back at ike, "I  have learned a few things about him... nothing that helps me but enough to feel sorry for him." He's quiet for a minute before sighing, "you dont... have to use your time to help me this much. I dont want to upset what you have with aiden."

Ike shakes his head, " no, this is important. Aiden doesn;t seem to get that you can;t do this alone. Our relationship is nothing when it comes to the fate of your world."

Link looks down and frowns, biting his lip, "i just.... dont want to be any more of a burden than i already am."

[Namari]

Ike looks hard at Link, " my purpose of being here is to aid you in protecting this world. anything else comes second. you're not a burden, you're the most important thing we have. if he can;t understand that, then he and i have no business together."

Link looks at ike and grips epona's reigns tighter,  "don't say that. Im not that important. Im just... some guy that can wield a sword. "

Ike raises an eyebrow, " you are important. not just because you're some magical hero, because you're willing to stand up and keep fighting, even when the odds are stacked so high against you anyone else would give up."

Link  blinks and he turns bright red before quickly looking at his hands, "o-oh....i uh... i see...."

Ike chuckles, " it's a difficult burden, but an admirable trait. sometimes foolhardy. But i can respect it since that's what made me stand out and keep going even when everything seemed lost. we'll win this, i promise you that, i'll fight beside you until my last breath if i have to." he holds his fist against his heart in a salute.

Link looks up at Ike and shudders, "Well... it means a lot to me... re-really i...If there was a way where we could still see each other after all of this was done with I'd consider my situation a win no matter what. You have been the only person I've been able to talk to with just about everything."

Ike smiles, " well im glad i could be of help. i wish we could see one another sometimes once this is done as well, but this isn;t our world, and once we're not needed i would like to go home. not only do i think our presence here would have a negative impact on your world in the long run, mixing of races and such, but there are people i want to see, and people who still need me."

[MissyLooni]

Link looks down, "if it were possible... i wouldnt mind seeing you... in your world. This place wont need me after ganon is defeated anyway so it would make more sense for me to visit you... if it were possible..."

Ike blinks and smiles, " that would be fun. though my world is more dangerous in some ways. but i don't think it's fair to ask Lana to be our personal transport service, even if it didn;t take so much from her."

Link sighs, "she wouldnt be an option anyway. After she fixes the mistake her other half created she will leave."

Ike nods, " fair. well, regardless it has been a pleasure fighting with you, and it'll be a memory i carry with me always."
