Twilight quickly lowers his body and drops his shield to his feet to block the attack, "I suppose i could gather enough energy to do so, but then i will be out for a few days."

Link frowns at both of them as he listens to their conversation

Ike chuckles, " well no offense but i think it's a little more important to train Link than to get our fuck on." He leaps back, strafing sideways looking for an opening.

Twilight eyes his movements carefully, "That and i dont think the kid would enjoy that. Not with the glare he's giving me now."

[Namari]

Ike blinks, " huh?" he wanted to look, but didn;t dare take his eyes off his opponent. " you won;t fool me that easily." he lunges in to try and strike again.

[MissyLooni]

Twilight dodges and shrugs, "doesnt matter to me whether you look or not. It wont be the reason why i win."

[Namari]

Ike makes a face, " yeah yeah... keep talking big." he rolls and tries to knock the others legs out from under him.

Link sits down and crosses his arms, huffing, obviously annoyed

Twilight dodges and continues to spar with ike, pressing harder to end the battle

Ike keeps up for a surprising amount of time before finally taking enough hits that he stays on the ground when he falls, panting and covered in sweat.

Twilight stops and eyes ike carefully, trying his best to breathe slowly and deeply so that its not obvious that he feels winded

Ike stays down, resting, " man....that was intense."

[MissyLooni]

Twilight sighs and goes over to link, "i apologize. I have exhausted my energy and will no longer be able to spar with you. That may be best however, since you seem to be out of sorts. Would meditation to help your bond with the master sword suffice?"

Link pouts, "its fine. I dont care."

[Namari]

Ike winces, " oops. sorry Link, didn;t mean to hog him. if you wanted to spar, gimme ten and i'll see what i can do?"

Link shakes his head, "its fine. Figuring out how to get along with the sword is apparently just as important as swinging it around."

Twilight nods, "indeed. Unlike any other sword in the world the Master Sword requires the hero to be able to communicate with her. It's easier when you form a strong bond."

[Namari]

Ike lifts his arm long enough to give a thumbs up before letting it flop to the ground again, " okay.im...just gonna stay here for a bit longer..."

Link nods and gets up, pulling out his sword, "do we need to go over to the pedestal?"

Twilight nods, "yes. We will place the sword inside, but not all the way in. You will keep a firm hold on it and that will help the sword."
