Ike snorts softly, still on the ground, " that's what he said..."

Twilight snarls and turns his head to glare at ike, "watch your tongue."

Link sighs and walks over to the marbled center where he had pulled the sword out and lines it up, "whats going to happen when i do this?"

Twilight looks over and sighs before walking over to him, "nothing that will hurt i can assure you. You just need to-" he reaches out and grabs the hilt just above links hand and he freezes briefly before jerking his hand back and blinking

Ike rolls his eyes, " oh settle down, im just passing some time while i recover here..."

Twilight is quiet for a moment before looking at ike, "...." he looks back at link, "get the sword in the slot and, without actually pushing it in, get it far in enough to where it naturally stops. Hold the hilt, close your eyes and meditate."

Link blinks and frowns, "that... doesnt sound very safe."

Twilight shakes his head, "trust that the sword will keep you safe. She serves you after all. She knows it wouldnt do to get her master killed."

Link blushes a bit before getting the sword in the slot like he is told and closes his eyes.

Twilight takes a step back and huffs, "i said trust the sword!"

"I am!"

"TRY HARDER. If you cant trust the sword to keep you safe how can you trust yourself to save your friends!"

Link flinches and tightens his grip on the sword.

The sword begins to glow faintly

Twilight nods and walks back over to ike

Ike manages to sit up and pants softly, " whew, i haven;t had a fight like that... well since the old days when i was chasing the black knight for revenge."

Twilight frowns at ike,  "what is wrong with the hero. He is dealing with a horrifying amount of anxiety. "

Ike blinks and frowns, " what? i... im not sure. i know he's been stressed and worried that he's doing things wrong. i've been trying to help with that, i got your journal for him for that reason remember?"

Twilight shakes his head, "i wish i could watch him at the castle however the farther i go from this place the weaker i get and unfortunately my tether ends at the fields. I can not enter the castle..."

Ike rubs the back of his neck, " i... im not sure how to help. i know there's magical shit around, is there a way for me to take something that would let you watch him? magic mirror or something fairy tale like that. oh, speaking of mirrors, he was freaking out about the mirror in his room. had me move it to another room after i went and found him hiding in the bathroom with the mirror against the door. that was super weird."

Twilight blinks and frowns, "mirror...?  I would... probably keep him away from them then. I never had any positive experience with mirrors either. Too dangerous. You could never tell what was on the other side of them. Unfortunately all i personally dont know of anything that would allow me to keep an eye on him. Best idea is to see if a fairy will follow him and report anything odd to whoever is nearby. Also, the sword. I had gripped the hilt while he also held it and... i saw some terrifying things that he experienced so some how the sword is capable of showing what he's dealing with. It cant be a good sign and i wouldnt ignore her efforts to help her new master."

Ike blinks, " i...have no idea how to get a fairy to do that. honestly i didn;t know they existed until recently. i'll make sure and keep him from the mirror i guess though."

Twilight nods, "Plenty of rest, ask him if he has a fairy. if not he'll know how to get one. Away from mirrors. And if at all possible some visits to the farm. I'm usually there as well, and even if i cant spar with him they have that area where you could. You dont have to take him to the farm but he seemed to get healthy quick there so it may be a good idea."

Ike nods, " yeah that's not a bad idea. that Tergo guy and him seem to get along well. will do. im gonna have my work cut out for me keeping all this going and training the men too... hm, maybe i can assign someone to take over the basic stuff."

Twilight blinks and looks at ike, "Isnt training the men the job of the sheikah woman?"

Ike nods, " kinda. Long story short she nearly worked herself to death when Link ran off and Zelda was using all her energy to keep up the barrier. To at least lighten the load a little and let her get a little sleep now and then, she told me to take over training. I think she's partially recovered, though i don;t think she's in proper shape to work with the men yet. she still looks way underweight."
