Ike blinks and frowns, " i... suppose. i guess it makes sense he's... the way he is. I dislike the thought of 'using' the person he likes, but perhaps i can talk with him and see if he's willing to help anyway."

Twilight shrugs, "Is the person he's with a good kid? At the very least acting upset and venting about your woes could trigger the kid to say something to ghirahim. That would be... probably be better on your conscience?"

Ike nods, " he seems like a really good hearted kid. i think he'd try to help even if i asked outright, and i'd rather not trick people."

twilight shrugs, "entirely up to you since i cant go around asking people."

Ike nods, " i'll certainly keep it in mind." he glances over at Link, " how long will he be like that?"

twilight looks over and blinks, "i can probably see if the sword can take a break." he goes over and pokes at the sword.

Ike blinks and watches, curious.

The sword pulses slightly

twilight smiles, "Hey girl. sounds like we're ending soon. how far are you?" He watches as the sword glows a little, "Ah. i see. well, call it a day."

Link's eyes slowly open and his knees buckle, dropping the sword

Twilight quickly catches link before he has the chance to fall

link rubs his face and groans

Ike quickly gets up, "Link! is he alright?!"

Twilight nods and looks at ike, "The sword places the hero under certain tests against his spirit to strengthen him. His body his fine however im sure he still feels exhausted. The trials arent something that just any person can do."

[Namari]

Ike nods, " alright. i guess i better get him back for some rest then." he gently picks Link up, heading over to his horse. He places Link up before climbing up himself and adjusting Link so he'd be comfortable. " until tomorrow night then."

Twilight nods, picking up the sword and gently sheathes it before placing it in epona's travel sack, "until then."

Link shudders and blearily opens his eyes, "that... was not... fun."

Ike chuckles, " hard work rarely is." he clicks his tongue softly and gets his horse moving back towards the castle.

Epona follows obediently behind ike

Link sighs and lets his body lean against ike, closing his eyes to rest a bit.

Ike urges his horse to jump into a canter, skipping the jarring trot. before long they reach the castle and he carefully lets himself down before taking Link down with him, carrying him. He leaves the horses for the stableman to take care of and heads in, yawning.
