Caleb nods and closes the door before going over to ghirahim and gently hugs him, "Hey, whats going on? Are you okay?"

Ghirahim huffs, " im fine, i just don't see why you have to let him try and twist things about me." he grabs onto Caleb, sulking.

Caleb hums softly, "Why do you think he'll do that? My brother certainly didnt change my opinion of you so what makes you think someone who isnt related to me will?"

Ghirahim hesitates, " i...suppose. don;t forget about your earring, if you need me let me know right away, and i swear i'll come get you."

Caleb nods and grabs it, "Dont worry. I'll be fine and I'll be back soon." He goes back over to the door and opens it, still smiling, "Alright. let's talk."

Ike steps back to let Caleb come out of the room, " he's not paranoid at all is he?" he chuckles softly. " So, i wanted to chat with you since you're clearly in well with him. I've spoken with the princess and apparently a hand seal thing lets him get energy, and he's sharing some of that with Volga to let him get better, correct?"

Caleb nods, "From my understanding if the blue mage girl gave volga energy then he would be better by now, however she refuses for some reason so ghirahim is trying his best to help volga."

Ike nods, " well that doesn;t really surprise me. so more energy would speed the process along? and, i hate to ask this but is he trustworthy? Ghirahim that is. you i think know him better than most at this point, and he seems to value you. can you keep him under control? if other people did get the seal, would he abuse it? and will he fight alongside us?"

Caleb shakes his head, "I trust him and I trust he wouldnt do anything to the people of hyrule. He may still be finding himself and the way we do things may be confusing to him but that doesnt mean he would intentionally do anything abusive." A pout forms on his face and he rolls his eyes a bit, "He is not someone who needs to be kept under control either. He can keep himself in check just like any other adult. What in hyrule are all these questions about?"

Ike sighs, " just... asking. as you said, he's still figuring things out. if he loses his temper and drains peoples energy and kills them that would be a big problem you know? you don;t know the way he was before, and now i know that was all he knew, but that doesn't make him safe. Right now, you're the closest thing we have to any way to keep him from going ballistic right now, so im counting on you okay? We need to get him and Volga in fighting shape, but im not willing to risk my men to do so. The sooner we can get him and Volga ready, the sooner we can try and get that are being held prisoner back..."

Caleb blinks and pauses a bit, blinking, "What? Who was taken?"

Ike sighs softly, " well i doubt you knew them, but Sheik, a uh, Sheikah warrior i think they're called? he was brought at the same time we were. The other... well he's one of my closest friends. Soren. He's been by my side for years, and he's saved my ass more times than i can count." he rubs his temple, trying to not show his distress, " it kills me that he's there...and i can;t do anything about it but try and get stronger..."

Caleb is quiet before he rubs his arm, "I'll talk to ghirahim. It's still his decision though so maybe for a back up someone should try to talk some sense in the blue girl? If she could just give her energy to volga then none of this would even be an issue right now."

Ike snorts, " yeah i think the demon lord is going to be more reasonable than Lana. No, i don;t think she'll cooperate. but i appreciate that you'll try, Zelda and i are trying to work out a creative solution. a seal on something other than a person, so the connection isn't constant. So if i con convince people to donate energy that way, that'll help. it'll be easier to convince them i think than a constant connection they have no control over, you know?"

Caleb blinks, "that is a good idea. I just wish she would help. She brought you guys here so its her fault if anything happened to your friend..."
