Ike looks away, " well just because someone caused the problem doesn;t mean they'll fix it. It's up to me to save my companion, after all i failed to keep him safe...i have to keep getting stronger, so i can kick their asses and get everyone home safely."

Caleb sighs and nods, "alright. You should probably get to it then. I'll let you know what ghirahim says."

Ike nods, " i appreciate it. Let me know if there's anything you need okay? I know you and your brother are kind of at a crossroads right now...but you can talk to me." he heads out to the training grounds with a sigh.

Caleb sighs and goes back inside his room, getting on the bed and snuggling ghirahim

Ghirahim holds him closely, " he didn;t say anything mean did he? are you okay?"

Caleb hums and smiles, "i'm just fine. He was just trying to give us some ideas about getting volga in better condition. Apparently he thinks having volga in top form would help them get his friend back from ganon."

Ghirahim frowns, " i suppose...not like that's my problem though." he nuzzles Caleb and settles back down.

Caleb hesitates before sighing, "if they have to go get those who were captured then the army will have to follow to help. If thats the case then i'll be sent out with the other men to fight."

Ghirahim blinks then growls, " like hell you will."

Caleb frowns and sighs, "unfortunately thats not your call to make. Its my job. Just like its everyone else's job to put their life on the line."

Ghirahim huffs, " ...they can;t make you if i take you far away from here..."

Caleb huffs, "no. Thats not how it works. I signed up to fight so i'll fight. I dont want to be taken anywhere."

Ghirahim growls, " but what if you get hurt? I don;t want you fighting!"

"I have fought before. That big battle just recently in the field.  Besides, i know i'll be safe if you're with me."

Ghirahim huffs, "...yeah but i didn;t know you then. i won;t let anything happen to you."
