Aiden looks slightly uncomfortable, however he keeps his mouth closed as he just turns away and goes back to eating

Ghirahim huffs softly and hunches over his food, eating quickly to get it over with.

Caleb finishes eating and sets his tray down so that he can lean against ghirahim, "i like having both of you with me."

Aiden blinks and looks at caleb, trying his best to stay quiet

Ghirahim blinks and inwardly groans, knowing that meant more of dealing with Aiden, " really? that's...so great..."

Aiden rolls his eyes, knowing damn well ghirahim wouldnt care if he never showed his face to them again.

Caleb nods, "Yeah. i just wish... you both could get along..."

Ghirahim sighs, " it's hard to forget the things he's said quite that quickly. im trying though, i even brought him with us to the garden..."

Aiden frowns and crosses his arms, "its no secret among the men as to what you did to the hero. The fact that no one thinks we'll win the war because he's too damaged is a big chunk of it. And admittedly i am one of those people who think that so... yes what i said was exceptionally cruel. I cant take back those words. However, i still dont think we'll survive so im still upset. Nothing i can do about it though."

Caleb frowns and twiddles his thumb, "i think we'll be fine. He acts differently once he's actually fighting so im sure we'll be fine."

Ghirahim huffs, " I didn;t do that much... it was mostly Cia and Zant and Ganon! And im trying to make up for it... i myself am helping you guys, im helping supply your allies, or, getting supplies to them quickly and safely at least... and im helping Volga recover! he can turn into a giant dragon, that's gotta be helpful to you guys...."

Aiden huffs, "what does it matter who did what to him anymore i guess. either way, only the hero can defeat ganon and right now he's no hero thats for sure."

Caleb huffs and elbows aiden in the side, "Knock it off aiden. Isnt that why Ike is here for? To make him better? Besides, sometimes the hero is outside so you should keep those comments to yourself." he takes a hold of ghirahim's hand and sighs

Ghirahim narrows his eyes and was going to retort when Caleb takes his hand, so he thinks better of it. " ...I'd like to see you be in Ganons clutches for any amount of time and be yourself again. i never knew anything else and even i know now it's fucked up there."

Caleb frowns and leans against ghirahim, "i wouldnt want anyone in ganons hands. Thats why i want to help ike get his friend back."

Aiden huffs, "id rather you not involve yourself. Normal battles fine but anything involving this war is something i dont want you participating in."

Ghirahim snorts softly, " save your breath, i already tried to talk him out of it."

Caleb blinks and sighs, "i suppose thats one thing you two have in common. You both are overly protective of me."

Ghirahim rolls his eyes, " yeah, though he's trying to protect you from me, and im just trying to protect you period."

Aiden glares at ghirahim, "I've protected him since he was a baby! You have no idea what I've done to keep him safe."

Caleb hums, "yeah you did go to the extremes. Including the time you convinced the gerudo chief to let us hide in their village until i got better. I stayed inside their palace and you dressed like a girl, doing jobs for the people to earn money to buy medicine and food."

Aiden blushes and pouts, "dont bring it up. It was terrifying. Everyone thought you were going to die and you didnt even fully recover. You ended up losing a chunk of your eye sight from the fever. It was awful."

Caleb smiles and hugs aiden, "i know. But im here because of you. Im very thankful that i survived."
