Ike rides into the sacred grounds and waves, " hey twilight! got a minute?"

Twilight blinks when he had heard the hoofs of the horses and turned to look at the two as they entered. He gets up and dusts himself off despite the fact that he didnt really need to, "yeah, whats up?"

Link gets off epona and frowns, looking down, "i...almost killed ike."

Twilight stiffens a bit and he looks at ike to assess any damage, looks at link and frowns, "like.... did he take a tumble during training? Did you convince him to ride a cuckoo?"

Ike snorts loudly in amusement, " yes to the last one, but that wasn't it." he pulls out the dagger, " we went to bed, and he was in some sort of weird trance mumbling about Cia i think and suddenly had this dagger out of friggen nowhere."

Twilight goes over to ike and takes a look at the dagger. He looks at link, "a trance?"

Link's face turns red and he nervously looks away, "i.... thought i was dreaming. I think i was anyway... she was there  tormenting me. Over and over. Before i knew it she gave me a dagger and told me the only way i would be free is if i killed her. Next thing i knew i was on top of ike with the dagger..."

Twilights face turns a soft shade of pink at links comment before looking over at ike.

Ike blushes a bit, " yeah uh... that was... awkward. Anyway..." he hands the dagger over to Twilight, " since it just kinda...appeared. feel anything unusual about it?"

Twilight holds the dagger and frowns, "i... cant feel anything."

Link blinks and frowns, "thats impossible. Daggers dont just show up like that!"

Twilights eyes narrow and he glares at link, "the dagger itself might not hold anything special but something else could. Or someone even. "

Ike blinks, " okay? and what does that mean exactly?"

Twilight looks at ike and frowns, "She could have marked someone without them knowing it. Whether it was volga or ghirahim, i wouldnt put it past her to do so and then have free reign to torment link."

Link blinks and pales, thinking about it carefully.

Ike frowns, " that's... disturbing. i think we've all met her at some point, it could really be anyone. how can we tell who it is?"

Twilight sighs, "I'm not sure...Can you really not convince the other half to help you out? Its her magic too so she would be able to sense it in others."

Ike nods, " it wasn't something we thought of asking, she tends to not offer much willingly. it's worth a try anyway." he blinks and frowns, " you think this might have something to do with the things Link keeps seeing in the mirrors? it seems similar in a spooky kind of way."

Twilight nods, "if they were placed there by someone then-"

Link looks down as he's listening to them both talk, an uneasy feeling in his stomach growing, "what if I saw cia without any mirrors? What would it mean if i just happen to see her out of the corner of my eyes, or i look at my bed and she's sitting on it and i do a double take, and then she's gone? What then?"

Twilight looks at link and sighs, "has that been happening?"

Link looks up at twilight and ike, his eyes watering before he nods.

The ghost rubs the back of his head, grumbling, "this is way beyond me.... id say to try to strong arm the bitch for info as best as you can. The blue or red one i dont really think it matters at this point. But from the sounds of it that easily leaves me to believe the issue is escalating."

Ike blinks and looks at Link, " shit...i had no idea you were dealing with that. yeah, we need to talk with Lana then, and see what we can find out. it's still early, we can try and get some info out of her before the attack starts." he runs a hand through his hair, " ...im sorry that i haven't been dependable enough for you to come to me for this stuff."

Link sighs and shakes his head, "dont.... dont say that. Its... it usually happened when i'm alone, that is true, but i did try to keep myself near someone. I didnt want to say anything to anyone. I already sounded crazy enough mentioning the mirrors."

Twilight frowns and puts his hands on his hips, "sorry i couldnt be more help. Honestly im not an expert and i'm just banking my info on what i know about the witch back when i was alive. But i will say that if you need any info on the Twili people i at least can say im an expert there."

Ike sighs, " if i'd been there for you perhaps i could have done something before it got this bad." he shakes his head, " well, we may need that information on the twili people when we get back, we're going to have two very likely very fucked up people coming back..."
