Twilight nods at Ike, "I'll be here. Try to be careful in battle."

Link nods, "We'll be careful." link looks at ike, "lets get going before everyone starts waking up."

Ike nods, " yeah... i will." He grabs his geldings reins and mounts up, kicking the horse into a canter back towards the castle.

Link gets on epona and follows ike, looking down.

Ike makes sure Link keeps up, and gets back to the castle swiftly before turning his horse over to a stable boy who looks like he just woke up, " lets go." he jogs down the halls to Lana's room, pounding on her door.

Link sighs and brings his horse back before following ike to lana's room, a little annoyed at the jogging but whatever.

Lana jumps when she hears the pounding on her door and she huffs before going over and opening it up a crack, seeing ike, "yes ike? Rare of you to come see me."

Ike rolls his eyes, " jee, i wonder why you might not be my favorite person. Anyway, long story short, we need you to see if Cia marked Link or I, he's been... seeing things. Plus he tried to stab me last night with a dagger that appeared out of nowhere."

Lana opens her door all the way and frowns, "i'm well aware of what he did. I know what happens in the past."

Link frowns and looks away. Of course she would have known. He honestly isnt surprised anymore.

[Namari]

Ike crosses his arms, " well la dee da. cut the shit, we've got places to be, if it happened in the past then you know anyone who is marked by Cia?"

Lana's eyes narrow at ike and she huffs,  "i am the only one who can return your friend back to normal after this battle so i would like a little respect. "

[Namari]

Ike's eyes narrow, " please tell us before i need to go speak with the princess to get this sorted out."

[MissyLooni]

Lana sighs, "Fine, fine." She leaves her door open and goes over to her book, opening it up, "Its done by keeping direct eye contact so...." she reads through the book briefly before looking at Ike, "The first time Link was captured, Cia marked him before letting us 'save' him. Happy now?"

[Namari]

Ike curses under his breath, " he's the only one? how can we remove it?" he glances worriedly at Link.

[MissyLooni]

Link looks down,  remembering that moment made sense to him... but why was it this bad now?

Lana puts her hands on her hips, "well you'd have to kill cia obviously. If she finds out that we know she could go all out and do some terrible things but from the looks of it she usually messes with him when she knows he's alone so if we pretend we don't know and just keep someone near him we can keep her actions to a minimum."

Link blinks and looks up at lana, "wait so.... when i hear her....or see her..."

"That's probably her messing with you. "

Links eyes water and relief causes his shoulders to sag, "so im not crazy. Im really not crazy."

Ike sighs, " lovely. well, i'll do my best to keep him with me." he glances at Link, " i never said you were crazy. Now, maybe i thought stress and or lack of sleep might have been messing with you, but those are perfectly valid reasons to be seeing things."

Link looks at ike before looking down, "I've been in worse ways that didnt make me see things before so I didnt really think it was from that."

Lana shakes her head, "Well I wont lie, in part sleep and stress does make a huge difference as well. Also time. The longer you stay in distress the easier it is for her to manipulate your head. In a way her magic seems to feed off of your misery. When we go get soren and sheik I want to make sure you focus on ganon with Ike if thats alright. I will keep Cia busy since I need what she's got but you being anywhere near her is less than ideal at the moment."
