Ike nods, " im... just glad you're back." he sits near the bed again.

Soren looks at Ike and smiles, "I know. I'm glad im back too. I wasnt worried about it though. You would come get me as soon as it was possible. You'd never leave me in the hands of the enemy."

Ike winces, " you were there far too long, we just didn;t have the manpower to get you. im so sorry my friend."

Soren sighs and pats ike's shoulder, "Ike, its okay. I dont blame you. I never would. You can stop apologizing."

Ike nods, " i know... i just... yeah. anyway, um, alcohol? food? anything you want?"

[MissyLooni]

Soren snorts, "Alcohol? Are you sure you're asking what I want and not what you want?"

Ike chuckles, " maybe a little of both."

[MissyLooni]

Soren sighs, "well actually I wouldnt mind going to get some food now that you mentioned it. But i can easily get it myself. I dont need you to walk all the way to the mess hall to get it for me."

Ike shakes his head, " humor me, i'll go get it." he gets up and leaves before Soren can protest, collecting two trays of food before he returns.

Soren is sipping more water when ike comes back, staring off into thought

Ike sets a tray of Soren's favorites down for his friend and starts quietly eating his own meal.

Soren sets his cup down and starts eating, happily enjoying his food, "thanks ike. Was it really that bad? Without me? You seem very... attentive."

Ike winces, " you were gone... i didn't know if you were alive or dead, all i knew was that i wasn;t there and i had failed you."

[MissyLooni]

Soren chuckles and shakes his head, "i wouldnt die. I have a few promises to keep so of course im not dying on you any time soon."

[Namari]

Ike chuckles, " you better not, who's going to keep my ass out of trouble otherwise?"
