Soren laughs, "Certainly not Sothe, THAT'S for sure!" He grins and looks at Ike, "Where is he? Still hanging around the Princess I take it?"

Ike chuckles, " no shit. well he came with to help get you, but yeah that's where he's been for the most part. he was in a pretty bad way when you were taken as well."

[MissyLooni]

Soren pauses briefly before frowning, "Ah. him too? didnt think... well im sure he would have been a bit upset but not I didnt think it would bother him too much."  Soren shrugs, "Well, doesnt matter. Im back, im fine. Safe and sound. And we have plenty of work to do so as soon as you let me stop resting im going to do work."

[Namari]

Ike shakes his head, " he cares more than you think. and for the love of the gods, im not letting you up today so shut up and give me some peace of mind for the first time in weeks."

Soren blinks, not used to ike being this stressed in a long time and he feels his stomach churn a bit, "...weeks?"

[Namari]

Ike covers his face with a hand, "...yeah. i... it was bad."

[MissyLooni]

Soren gently sets the tray aside and places his hand on ike's shoulder, "Hey, it's okay now. I'm here, and im fine, right? I'm perfectly fine." At this point he wasnt sure if he was saying that for his own sake or for ike's as he thought of his first day captured, and the apparent weeks he couldnt remember.

Ike nods, " yeah... it's finally over." he suddenly hugs Soren, " don;t you ever do that to me again."

Soren this time hesitantly hugs ike back, "you say that as if I'd want to. "
He could smell the tea on his clothes, and the sweat on ike's body. Something familiar to him from many battles they'd both endured in their own world and soren suddenly felt his chest tightened as he thought of their comrades.
"If you tell Sothe im going to be pissed. Got it?" His voice cracked at the end of his sentence and he could feel his face get hot, closing his eyes tightly as tears ran down his cheeks.

Ike chuckles weakly, " i could say the same thing. lets just agree that Sothe doesn;t get to hear any of this."

[MissyLooni]

Soren nods before hugging ike tighter. His whole body shook as he cried quietly for a little bit. This would be one of the few times he would allow himself to cry so he better get it all out of his system to ensure it doesnt happen again.

Ike shakes as he can;t stop himself from crying a little, the pent up emotion letting itself loose as he holds onto his friend.

Volga sat in his own room, unsure how to process what he was feeling. He gave the sheikah space like he asked but volga couldnt help but feel bitter about it. He'd rather hold sheik, and console the sheikah if needed. Something he was sure even ike's friend was getting at this very moment. He looked down at his abdomen and lifted his shirt to show the ugly scar from his injury before. He wasnt sure how long this corpse had before even the princess's power would fail to heal him but he... if he had one wish before that day came it would be to feel sheiks warmth. A hug would suffice...
He sighs and lets go of shirt before looking out the window.

Zelda is in her office, getting work done

Sheik had a lot on his mind, but one thing he'd managed to sort from the chaos was he'd need to deal with this issue, and pronto. His head ached massively (from the blow to his head not that he remembered), and he wanted the piercings removed.  all of which required medical attention. He was not feeling well enough to get up so he sighs and looks at the tiny dragon Volga left for him and bites his lip before talking to it, " i um... i need something. could... could you go get Volga? i think im gonna barf if i move...."

The tiny dragon pops up to its little feet and scurries out of the room, excited to be of some use.
Its only a few minutes that go by when volga enters sheiks room, the small dragon on his shoulders, "is everything alright, sheik?"
