Sheik sighs, " you're far more useful to this war than i am. therefore you injuring yourself to save me is a waste, it's that simple."


Ike shrugs, " hey, i was skeptical too, but i watched a fairy instantly heal a several inch sword cut into your side earlier today. it's made me a bit more of a believer."

Volga blinks and frowns, "i appreciate your concern but trust me, i am not more useful."

Soren blinks and stares at ike, "you're joking."

Aria pulls her hand away and sighs. Pregnant... but otherwise fine. "Alright. No injuries left unseen. Thats good."

Soren sits back up and looks at ike, "alright. You heard her. May i leave my bed now?"

Sheik raises an eyebrow, " i've seen you fight, you're a force to be reckoned with. me... i can;t seem to get in a battle these days without getting captured. so i should probably stay on the sidelines to avoid causing more trouble than i have already."


Ike shakes his head, " afraid not. There was a situation where i couldn't get you away from the enemy and he was using you as a shield." mostly true, " I was stuck, until Link told me he had a fairy and it would heal anything i did. It wasn't a move i enjoyed making, but in order to cut the enemy and get him to release you, i had to cut into you as well. It would have been a fatal wound back home." he sighs, " very well, a deal is a deal."

Volga rubs his arm and sighs, "but you will last. My form is only good for a short amount of time."

Soren nods and gets up, going up to ike and patting him on the shoulder, "i understand why you did it and while i hope it only happens this one time, i am glad that you did it. Come find me if you need anything." Soren leaves the room to go to the cellar.

Aria waits until soren is gone, knowing his affliction wont hurt him at the moment. She looks at ike, "i need to talk to you but i dont want you to freak out."

Sheik pauses, " wait, what?"

Ike nods, " yeah, it was still pretty awful though. go have fun, don;t stay up late though." he waves at the other as he leaves and runs a hand through his hair. He blinks and looks at Aria, " uh... that already makes me nervous. what's going on?"

Volga looks away, and sighs, "my body is.... a... a corpse. It will not heal by normal means and eventually even with the flow of power given to me will no longer keep this body moving. Cia needed a body for me to have this form, and it wasnt a living body."

Aria takes a deep breath and sighs, "apparently.... i was given some information today that zant has the ability to physically affect others. Im not sure how since there is no information about twilight people, but apparently he can make people pregnant. Or at the very least give them the ability to have kids regardless if they're male. Its the actual reason why i wanted to check out sorens body. And unfortunately it looks like he has also become a victim of this. I didnt want to say anything with him in the room since i dont think he'd accept this information from me..."

Sheik looks horrified, " but...that's cruel... there has to be a way..."

Ike blinks and his brow furrows as she speaks, and when he realizes what she means he pales, " you.... you're joking right? that's a joke, there's no way."

Volga shakes his head, "unfortunately the two options i was  given i didnt want... i will fight for as long as i can, and then hopefully a peaceful death will be awarded to me. "

Aria frowns, "i'm a professional ike. I would never joke about something so serious."

Sheik looks down, " there has to be a way..." he shakes his head, " are... you able to take any body?"


Ike sighs, " didn't think so, but i had hoped..." he runs a hand through his hair, " so... what do we do? i mean i doubt he's going to take me seriously either, i don't know if you've noticed but he's a pretty skeptical guy. fuck..."

Volga shrugs, "i have not tried, but lana had suggested i take a living body. Although i could not bring myself to do so as that meant robbing someone's life... she would know more as it is her ability along with cia's"

Aria packs up her things, "this is why i decided to tell you first. There is no way that conversation would go well in general but it would be terribly difficult coming from me. I have no idea where to go from here but i am going to be researching what i can."

Sheik hesitates, " what if... what if the life you took needed to be gone anyway?"


Ike sighs, " yeah... thanks. i'll... i'll try to talk with him. fucking hell..."

Volga crosses his arms, "I... still dont know. Regardless of who i took the body of they had a life, a family, their own goals...." he looks down, "I think im tired of taking the lives of the hylian people for one lifetime...."

Aria looks at Ike, "I will figure out how to remove it eventually... soon.... i just need more information. While its not advised, you could always hold off on telling him until you can also say that it can be removed right now." She walks over to the door, "Not advised but again, people hate being told something is wrong with them and that there is nothing that can be done at the moment..."

Sheik snorts, " i'd offer mine if i thought for a moment you would take it. i have no family, and my duty has already been completed. im just... waiting for my life to be done. but... um, can i come in?" standing out in the hallway and admitting he was pregnant was not something he planned to do.

Ike nods, " yeah... that's an idea. i'll think on it. thanks for your help."

Volga perks up when sheik asks to enter his room and he nods and steps aside, "Of course. And you'd be correct, I would never choose you. I would feel terrible. Ideally, I would prefer an option in which i could still stay by your side."

Aria nods and steps out, heading to her station to find a way to start looking for answers

Soren is in the cellar with the other nurses, continuing his efforts

Sheik steps in and closes the door behind him, pausing when he takes in what Volga said, " you... want to be by me? why?"


Ike groans and decides now is a good time for that drinky drink. He heads to the empty room where he keeps the stash and grabs a bottle, going into his room and slamming down a few shots.
