Link quickly follows ike, grabbing his horse as well, "i'm sure twilight will know something. He seems to know a lot."

Volga hesitantly closes the door just for privacy sake and sits down at the table

Ike nods, " lets hope." he mounts up and heads towards oridon, part of him dreading the answer that awaits.


Sheik doesn't even look, he knew the noise of the closing door. If volga wanted the room private it didn;t bother him. and he had no intention of saying anything that might make him change his mind.

Volga doesnt really have anything to say or do to add to the room and he knows its rude to stare so he just closes his eyes and relaxes a bit, not minding it at all since this is just what he would be doing in his room alone anyway

Its neither early morning nor dusk when they enter ordon village and link quickly jumps off his horse and walks alongside epona instead, using her large body to shield himself from everyone, especially his old home.

Sheik finishes his meal, " do you not need to eat as well? or did you just already do so?"

Ike sees this and mentally curses at himself for forgetting. well, nothing to be done about it now except damage control. He moves his horse to block Link from anyone else, trying to help hide him as well while trying to look imposing and like he won;t tolerate being slowed down by anyone, " make way! commander of her highness's army coming through!"

Volga opens his eyes and blinks, looking at sheik, "uh." his cheeks tint a bit pink and he taps a few fingers against the table as a nervous habit, "Technically this body doesnt need food to sustain it. I used to eat because it felt like a social thing but right now i am not sure if digestion would be something this body can keep doing."

Links face turns bright red when Ike starts being loud because, yes, people are getting out of the way, but those who were not looking are sure as hell looking now

Sheik nods, " fair... all the more reason to get you a better body."

Ike tries to keep Link blocked from view, knowing he was attracting attention, but a couple of soldiers on horses going through town was bound to anyway.

Volga sighs, "i suppose... i honestly.... dont need to live in this world though. I have no purpose here."

Link thankfully makes it to Twilights home in the tree and away from the village, shuddering before looking at ike, "what was that?!"

Sheik snorts, " neither do i, and yet that doesn't seem to stop you from working otherwise."

Ike winces, " i was trying to help?"

Volga shrugs, "yes but you had already been living. its not as if you've been dead for a very.... very long time already."

Link groans, "That was painful, im sorry to say this ike but i think you attracted more attention."

Sheik sighs, " perhaps not. however my purpose in life has ended. my sole duty was to guide and aid the hero of my time. He is dead. my entire childhood was spent training to serve him, now i am adrift. a boat with no sail, no direction, no meaning."

Ike grimaces, " sorry. i thought if we got through faster less people would gather."

Link blinks before chuckling softly, shaking his head, "alright, alright, lets get this over with and find twilight, okay?"

Volga sighs, "My only purpose has been to harm the hero, not aid him..."

Sheik shrugs, " it doesn;t matter. you can choose your own direction now. me... im not sure what to do. it was easier when i had my duty."

Ike nods and looks around for twilight.

Volga's cheeks tint a slight pink and he sighs, "No one's said that to me before..."

Link starts looking around before bringing his hands up to his mouth to call out, "Twilight!"

Sheik shrugs, " well it's true. you're badly needed here, that much is certain, but nobody would begrudge you trying to find your own path. you're not forced to stay here and help us."

Ike frowns and pokes around Twilights house.

Volga looks at sheik, "I would prefer to stay by your side."

Twilight peaks his head out from behind a tree, pouting, "What do you guys want? you normally go to the sacred grounds..."
