Ike looks relaxed and unconcerned right up until he lunges, feinting at Link's side before twisting around and trying to strike behind him.

Link realizes the feint just in time to block ike's actual strike,  but just barely. He gets a little bit more distance in between them as he watches ike

Ike doesn;t wait this time, following Link as he tries to put distance between them. He keeps striking, trying to press the advantage and throw Link off balance.

Link happily plays defense and blocks all of ike's attacks, taking his own time to not only find an opening but also to try to let ike run his own energy out

Ike keeps locked in close combat, getting into Links space and trying to force him backwards and hopefully into stepping wrong to make an opening.

Link chuckles and keeps blocking, "you've gotten faster."

[Namari]

Ike ends up with his face almost touching Links as he grins, " not bad for an old man hm?" a bit of sweat drips down his face and he tries to hook his foot around Links and push him off balance."

When Ike gets that close to Link, his face flushes bright red as he blushes. The brief moment where he forgets everything is the moment where ike manages to throw links balance off and the Hero feels himself hit the ground before he quickly rolls to gain distance before pushing himself back up, sword up and ready

Ike tries to strike in that moment where he's off balance, not trying to press closer this time. He'd used a lot of energy doing that and needed to take it easier for awhile in this fight, take the defensive.

Link had been able to dodge the attack fairly quickly and now it was his turn to go on the offense, getting close to Ike and striking at him repeatedly.

Ike keeps his breathing steady as he gives up ground, backing up as he blocks the attacks.

Link smiles as he keeps attacking, hoping to get the upper hand this time

Ike keeps blocking, just letting Link wear himself down.

[MissyLooni]

Link smirks when he notices that ike is using his same strategy as before and he quickly jumps back, not wanting ike to get the upperhand

Ike raises an eyebrow when Link jumps away and grins, " what, tired already?"
