He rolls his eyes, " like im gonna just toss you to the wolves. of course im going to do everything i can to keep us both safe."

Zelda soon gets to the apartment complex, parking in one of the visitor spots, "oh god this is dreadful. Alright, time to pretend and im happy about being here."

[Namari]

Sheik snorts, " i think nervous but slightly excited might be more suitable. happy might be a little off." he gathers up the containers, carrying them to the door and buzzing the apartment.

Sothe groans, sitting up from bed and running a hand through his messy hair, " Soren, who is it."

Soren peaks out from his door and huffs, "why should i? You never answer the door!"

Sothe grunts, " because i work night shifts dumbass." he grumbles and gets up, not really caring that he lacks a shirt as he opens the door and looks at the two of them. He blinks as he recognizes Sheik, " you again..." his eyes flick over Zelda, " and a girl? um, what did you want? Ike's not here."

Sheik hold up the packages of food, " oh well that's a shame. anyway my cousin expressed some concern that you guys don;t get enough nutrition, and our chef went overboard and made too much for us, so we figured we wouldn;t let it go to waste and we'd share some of it. my we come in?"

Sothe blinks slowly and steps aside to let them in.

Sheik walks in and sets the containers on the table, " well there's more than enough here for all of us, and leftovers for you guys and Ike when he gets home."

Soren hears sheiks voice and his eyes widen, quickly grabbing his phone to text sothe so he doesnt have to leave the room, WHAT IS THAT BASTARD DOING HERE?! WHY DID YOU LET HIM IN?!

Zelda nervously slips past sothe  so that she can stick close to sheik

Sothe feels his phone vibrate and rolls his eyes, going over to Soren's room, " you made me answer the door, so therefore i get to decide if i let them in or not. get your anti-social ass out here, they brought food." He grabs a stack of paper plates and hands one each to shiek and Zelda before setting the extra one aside for Soren and piling his own high with chow, plopping onto the couch to eat, " mm, s'good."

Sheik smiles and puts some on his own plate Sothe gave him, it would be awkward to just sit there doing nothing so this was working out as he planned. He sits on the couch and keeps a spot open next to him for Zelda as he takes a bite.

Zelda does her best to not make a face when given the paper plate. She puts a small portion of food on it and takes a careful seat next to sheik

Soren grumbles softly and stays in his room.

Sothe waits for a minute before his eye twitches slightly, " one moment." he gets up and sets the plate aside, barging into Soren's room, " quit being rude, this might be the best meal we'll get for awhile so stop pouting like a damn baby. they're related to Ike's friend, and i know he'd want you to at least to not behave like a kid!" he grabs him by the shirt and hauls him out into the living room, letting him go near the food. he then settles back down and grabs his plate, " apologies for Soren, he's an asshole. i mean, so am i, but i can at least act like im not." he takes a bite, swallowing before continuing, " so, i know you're Sheik right? who's this?" he points his fork at Zelda.

Sheik blinks at the events, " um, yes. This is Zelda."

Soren yelps and nervously glances at the food.  He looks at sothe and determines if he's eating and not getting sick then it should be okay, "i'm not apologizing..."

Zelda gives a polite smile, "a pleasure to meet you."

Sothe snorts, " of course not... how dare i expect you to act like a civilized human. you sure you need the plate or will you just shove your face into the dishes?" he shakes his head, " anyway, you must be another of the family of the kid hm? Ike said there was several of you. Not that im dissing the food, it's great and appreciated, but i doubt that was really the reason you came out here."

Sheik barely keeps from choking on his food, " oh, um, that's very astute of you... really we just wanted to get to know you. If our cousin is going to be spending time around Ike, and therefore likely around you two as well, i just want to ensure he's safe. He's one of the few family members i have left."

Sothe nods, " understandable. Well, im probably not what you'd hope, i like messing with things. Ike makes me keep things on the legal side though, so usually when i put my skills to use, it's because i was hired to test out security measures. when im not breaking into places and trying to steal things without getting noticed, i do overnight stocking. Soren is a computer whiz, he can hack into just about anything. again, Ike insists we keep it legal, so he's usually hired to test anti-hacker security. not that much usually can stand up to him, but he can at least point out major flaws so your run of the mill hacker wannabe cant use sewer rat codes to get in easily. that's pretty much it."

Zelda snorts softly, "So, what you're saying is, Ike is really the only decent one out of you three."

Soren glares at Zelda and huffs before looking at Sothe, "I told all of you that this would happen and no one would listen. I'm honestly insulted."

Sothe shrugs, " i do what i have to to keep my family safe and provided for. i was taught young and well by my own parents, so it's what i know. Someone like you can't understand what it's like to live in the gutters, born with a silver spoon in your mouth. Soren and Ike may not be my brothers by blood, but i'll do everything in my strength to keep us all going." he glances at Soren, " do i look like i care what they think?"

Soren huffs and crosses his arms, "i'm not insulted by them, i'm insulted that you two didnt listen to me. Now we have to deal with this. "

Zelda glares at sothe, "and i wouldnt want to know what your life is like. " she looks at sheik, "can we leave now? I'll be upset if my Porsche is damaged out there in this neighborhood. "

Sothe snorts, " if we listened to you we'd be holed up in some shack in the middle of nowhere to keep from being found. no, i prefer this." he glances at the two, " leaving already? i suppose with such a fancy car i wouldn;t want to risk it either."

Sheik huffs, " seriously you're going to give up just like that? don;t you care at all what happens to Link?"
