Her face turns red and she crosses her arms, "i- i DO care! Its not like link will be friends with these two. Just ike. And as long as he's working at the mansion we can figure him out all we want."

Soren bristles and he looks at zelda, "what the hell do you mean? Working at what mansion? He doesnt work at a mansion."

Sothe's eyes narrow, " indeed, he doesn't."

Sheik sighs, " settle down. we needed a pool boy, and Link wanted to help Ike out, so he told him about it. Ike's not working there yet, but we're making arrangements. And i don;t like having unknowns, you know how Link is, he'll try and be friends with Ike's family too, so one way or another these two are involved."

Soren huffs, "he has a job! Two in fact! He doesnt have the time for another!"

Zelda glares at soren and stands up, "well no of course we wouldnt make him work three jobs! Thats ridiculous! He'd work only as a pool boy!"

Sheik pulls Zelda back, " calm down! the idea is that it is in exchange of one or both of his present jobs. we plan to compensate him well, that way he can work less and earn good pay and benefits to help him and your whole family ideally."

Sothe narrows his eyes, " that sort of payment for pool cleaning? even if you guys are rich that seems suspicious..."

Zelda sits back down and pouts, "its not that much. Link never comes over anymore unless we ask him too. Not only will this be good for you guys but link will want to be over more often."

Soren huffs, "honestly not surprised to hear that about link...."

Sheik nods, " it's a winning situation for all of us. the maids stop complaining about having to tend to the pools, we get to see Link more, Ike works less and still keeps you all afloat. okay? no funny business involved, just everyone benefiting."

Sothe nods slowly, " be warned, you do anything to harm Ike and i won;t sit idly by..."

Soren pouts and slowly gets food and starts to slowly eats, "....agreed..."

Zelda sighs, "look, i'm sorry for getting all upset. This... whole... thing is new for me and i am very uncomfortable..."

Sothe nods and chuckles, " well, a delicate girl like yourself here among ruffians, no wonder you're uneasy. it's like a rabbit hanging with wolves."

Sheik smiles and relaxes as things settle, " im glad we have that sorted. By the way, if you two need anything, you can contact me. we're more than happy to help out if you get into a pinch."

Soren crosses his arms and pouts, "i personally would never ask for help. "

Sothe smirks, " of course you're not. im sure you put your own clothes on and everything."

Sheik raises an eyebrow, " not even if Ike or Sothe was in the hospital and needed treatment you couldn;t afford? im just saying it's an option should you need it. if you really want we can work out a payment plan or such if the need arises."

Zelda gets riled up again and she bristles, "excuse me? Knock it off! I dont appreciate being made fun of!"

Soren huffs, "if the other two get sick and need money then they'll get it themselves whether thats from you or not. I personally wont be accepting such things."

Sothe rolls his eyes, " well, you ever wanna get shown some real life fun, give me a call."

Sheik sighs, " fine. im not trying to push it on you, im only saying that it's an option. it can be good to have options as a fallback."
