Ike chuckles, " fair enough. i mean, my good looks and charm get most guys pretty easily, but yeah, i show some cute little omega a fresh home cooked meal... fuck im betting he'd jump right into bed with me." he laughs.

Link blinks and turns red, suddenly wishing he hadnt mention other suitors. Link goes over to his fridge and glances at Ike, "Anything you want to drink with the pizza? I have water, milk, lipton green tea, or apple juice."

Ike stretches, " hm....guess i'll go with milk. not much of a tea drinker, and apple juice makes me feel like a child."

[MissyLooni]

Link snorts, "alright. Milk it is." He pulls out the milk along with a bottle of lipton green tea before closing the fridge. He grabs a cup from the cupboard and sets it on the counter. A particular loud boom of thunder catches link off guard and he flinches hard, closing his eyes tightly.

Ike blinks and glances at the window, " whoooo man, that was an intense one."

Link shudders and looks out the window as well, "Yes, well, if it can wait until after our pizza is done to get insane that'd be grreeeeaaaat."

Ike chuckles, " yeah, if the power goes out then we'd only have half cooked pizza. that's no good."

Link sees the flash from another lightning strike and he quickly closes his eyes and hunches over just in time for another roar of thunder.

Ike looks over at Link and blinks when he sees him hunched over, " hey, you alright?" he gets up and goes over, gently putting a hand on Links back.

Link gives a nervous chuckle and looks up at ike, "sorry... I'm fine... just don't really like storms is all..."

Ike nods, " well, we all have things we fear... come on, lets go sit maybe?" he guides Link over to the couch and grabs the blanket he'd used earlier to cover them both, keeping an arm around Links shoulders.

Link blushes and smiles softly, "well, now you're being too kind."  He can smell ike's scent. Something so foreign but comforting at the same time. He half wonders if ike can smell his scent... or if it bothers him at all. Not everyone likes the smell of apples.

Ike chuckles, " hey, im not a total ass who's going to make fun of you or leave you high and dry when you're scared. im not sure what else i can do to help, but if this helps it's hardly a burden to do. after all, we're just waiting for pizza, which you hand made for me, to bake. i can sit here for awhile."

Link snorts softly,  "even if my fears are stupid and irrational?"

Ike shrugs, " if they're your fears, then they're never stupid. perhaps irrational, but nobody ever said we were rational creatures." he sighs softly, relaxing back against the couch. as he takes a deep breath Links scent makes it's way to his nose, and he can;t help but inhale again to test it. Was that...apples? perhaps not a scent he would have actively chosen, but it was pleasant enough. sweet with a hint of tart, making him think of the crisp crunch and flavor that went along with the fruit. " anyway, it almost sounds like you WANT me to make fun of you for being scared or something."
