Link shudders and hugs himself, "dont say that word... i dont like that word..." he hadnt been okay with the 'p' word since his time with his foster parent, but luckily for him he never had to explain it to his family. It was embarrassing that they already knew but his feelings about it were getting better since he started seeing his therapist

Zelda leans on the counter, "what is it about doctors that you dont like?"

Link looks down and huffs, "they are just.... i dont know... its intimidating... and i feel stupid around them and i dont like how empty and cold the buildings always feel..."

Zelda hums softly, "weeell.... sheik, you like your doctor right? Maybe link can see your doctor and you can go with to make link more comfortable."

Sheik sighs, he just didn;t want anything bad to happen to his cousin again. he looks at Zelda and nods, " absolutely, my doctor is great. She works with me to figure out what's best, and listens to me. and she's the furthest thing from scary and intimidating. paya is scarier than she is. sweet as a damn kitten. and of course i'll go with."

Link frowns and sighs, "i dont have a choice in... do i..."

Sheik crosses his arms, " well it's either this, or stop seeing him. if you don;t see him then it won't be an issue. i just...don;t want you to make a mistake."

Link huffs, "i wont though. Every time something like that happened to me it was because the adults around me failed. Ive never been the one to make that kind of a mistake."

Zelda frowns and sighs, "that's not what sheik meant. We are just concerned about your heats. Despite your best effort, they havent been all that timely. Didnt your last one come super late?"

Link crosses his arms and looks down, "does it matter? Doctor's didnt think suppressants would be good on my body anyway considering what its been through so why fuck it up even more than i already am."

Sheik sighs and rubs his temples, " im not saying you have to stay on them, and maybe there's another option we can look at, the doctor will know more. i just... want to make sure you really like this guy and it's not just the timing and your hormones talking."

[MissyLooni]

Link sighs, "well.... after my heat my hormones will return to normal right? I'll just not see him until my heat is done. How about that? But the day im in the clear I'm gonna go fucking see him."

Sheik huffs, " fine. stubborn...i don;t like this new obsession with him, it worries me."

Link waves his hand in a dismissive manner, "its fine! He's someone knew who is nice and isnt afraid of the attention we grab. He even said he wouldnt mind meeting you guys despite me saying no."

Sheik grumbles softly, still not liking it, " he seems too good to be true..."

Link frowns, "you said that about sidon too..."

[Namari]

Sheik huffs, " and look how it turned out! I hope he stays gone so my sister finds some other guy to pine over, instead of risking falling for someone who likes to up and leave!"

Link flinches and looks down. His eyes begin to water and he sniffles.

Zelda bristles back before looking at sheik, "aw shit link... dont start crying on us..."

Sheik makes a frustrated noise and storms from the room.

Link goes over to the couch and burrows his face in to a pillow.

Zelda shakes her head and goes up to paya's room. Despite her younger cousin being a beta paya was very good when it came to comforting link whenever he had started the water works.  Zelda always assumed it was because paya was a cryer too, "paya! Link is crying again. Make him stop."
