Nate gets the wind knocked out of him and he groans as he's curled up.

Steve goes to grab sheik, trying to keep him from moving

Sheik growls as he's finally grabbed, trying to get a rip on the other to get the upper hand.


Paya shrieks, " brother!" she digs her hand into the cup of quarters and starts pelting Steve with them.

Steve doesnt seem bothered by the quarters as he keeps his grip on sheik, "calm down will ya?!" He's about to squeeze sheik as hard as he can until a soccer ball pelts him so hard in the side of his head that he drops to the ground.

Zelda watches steve hit the ground and she huffs, "man you guys always have all the fun."

[Namari]

sheik quickly gets to his feet and lunges, aiming a kick to the guys head to knock him out.

Paya looks over, " Zelly!"

Zelda taps on her phone a bit before putting it away,  "kay so anyone besides the weirdos hurt? Paya? You okay? "

Paya nods, " im okay... Link sent me away before anything happened." she looks at the quarter mess, " keep the change dummys!"

Sheik shakes his head, " what were you thinking Link? seriously that could have been bad if i hadn;t run here..."

Link looks down, huffing, "i didnt... want them near paya..."

Zelda looks at link and frowns. She sighs before going over to sheik, checking him over, "you okay too? No bites or anything?"

Sheik shakes his head, " you really think i'd let one of those creeps mark me?" he looks at Link, " maybe next time you both try to leave? and call me, instead of trying to attract them to you. especially right now. using your scent like that..." he shakes his head, anger still bubbling up in him over the situation and how badly it could have gone.

Paya gets between them, " i-i know it was bad but he was just trying to protect me. lets just go home and relax okay?"

Link looks away and wipes his face. He didnt want to leave but there was no way he'd be allowed to stay, "its nothing im not used to already."

Zelda looks at link and sighs, "i know you think that but it doesnt mean we'd feel good knowing something happened to you. Come on, we gotta scram."

Sheik grits his teeth, " it's like you think we don;t care about you at all..." he shakes his head and storms from the building to Links vehicle.

Paya winces and heads slowly out to the van.

Zelda reaches out to grab links hand.

Link quickly jerks back, shaking his head, "no. I cant right now zelda."

Zelda sighs and nods before following paya.

Link looks up at the lights and takes a shuddering breath. He waits briefly, clearing his throat before heading to his van. He quickly gets in and shoves the key in to the ignition

Sheik keeps his face pointed away from Link, not looking at the other.

Paya climbs in and sits quietly.

Zelda gets in and glances at paya.

Once everyone is in link starts driving back to the mansion. The grip on his steering wheel is tight and he does his best not to show his emotions. Soon he pulls in to the driveway and he puts the van in park so his cousins can get out.

[Namari]

Sheik gets out, " i doubt you'll listen, but i think it would be best if you stayed here during your heat. you'll be safer with us than at the dorms... just... think about it. we do care about your safety, regardless of what you think." he goes inside.

Paya sighs, " i mean, he's not wrong? at the dorms there's more chances of alphas giving you trouble. here there's only Impa, and she's murder anyone who tried to mess with you. please think about it?"

Link clears his throat and he shakes his head, "No. I dont want to be here right now. Not when sheik is like that..." it took nearly everything in him to make his voice not crack as he spoke.

Zelda cant help but frown when she hears the way Links voice wavers while he talks. She opens her door and steps out, turning to look at link, "You gonna get home okay? I know what runs through your head when you're like this..."

Link nods but doesnt look at zelda, "I'll be fine... I'll text you when I get home, okay?"
