Link shudders and hugs sheik back, "Thank you, thank you, thank you. I... I was so scared. I was so fucking scared."

[Namari]

Sheik rubs Links back, " it's alright, you're here, you're safe. you'll be fine."

[MissyLooni]

Link sniffles and rubs his face against sheik's shoulder. He let his body relax in sheiks arms as he tried to not think. "When is impa supposed to be home?"

[Namari]

Sheik pats Link gently, " she'll be home soon. i let her know you were here, and to pick up some of your favorite snacks. im sure she got off work early when she heard you were here, so it won;t be long."

[MissyLooni]

Link nods and let's himself slowly drift off again,  "mkay..."

[Namari]

Sheik sighs softly and runs his hand through Links hair.

[MissyLooni]

Link falls back asleep, twitching now and then in sheiks arms

After awhile Impa comes home, a couple bags of Links favorite treats. She sets her work bag down and heads into Links room, knocking gently before she opens the door. She sets the bags down and walks over to the bed.

Link tiredly opens his eyes and when he sees its her he holds his arms out towards her

[Namari]

Impa chuckles softly and goes over, sitting on the bed and pulling him into her arms, " hi honey, i heard you had a rough day." she looks at Sheik, " i've got it from here."

Sheik nods, looking at Link, " you okay if i go?"

[MissyLooni]

Link looks at sheik and nods, "Yeah. Im good. Thank you again..." Link hugs impa. He immediately felt calmer than before with her at his side.

[Namari]

Sheik nods, " yeah no problem." he heads out of the room to start working on his homework.

Impa shifts to get onto the bed more and hold Link close, " it's alright, i've got you. you can sleep easy."

[MissyLooni]

Link shudders and sighs softly, "Im sorry. I just wanted to be less of a burden on you guys... but now I caused even more trouble..."

[Namari]

Impa sighs, " hush, you're fine. what happened happened, it's not your fault nor do i hold it against you. you've never been a burden and you never will be."

[MissyLooni]

Link sniffles and snuggles against her before blissfully passing out for the rest of the night
