Ike blinks, " i can agree with that. it did make her a formidable woman at least."

Link shrugs and rubs the back of his head,  "....well i guess...just wish my grandparents werent jerks about it..." he sighs and heads over to some tennis rackets

Ike nods, " yeah i hear ya. but hey, you can't control other people, only yourself. so try not to fuss too much over it."

Link nods, "sorry... sometimes when i think of impa and my cousins i get mad. It's been better though. I used to get mad at myself and blame myself but now i dont because i know there was nothing that i did."

Ike gives him a quick one armed hug, " it's tough to deal with things like that. i know for a long time i wondered if it had been something i did that made my father...well, do what he did. but we can;t let that rule us."

Link nods and smiles up at ike, "it was never your fault just like it wasnt mine... terrible things just happen and we grow and learn because of it."

Ike nods, " yeah. just you remember that too." he takes a tennis racquet from the shelf to look at.

Link nods, "i try. Some days are harder than others, but i try." He grabs a more expensive racket and grips it tightly, testing out the weight, "not bad. Not great but not bad."

Ike puts the one he has away, " i can;t tell, so i have no idea anyway. never was much for tennis."

Link chuckles, "i can. Although im not nearly as good as Zelda is. She gets intense. Sheiks just as good as her but he claims to think of tennis as boring and too easy.  I only really see him play when zelda annoys him enough."

Ike laughs softly, " im sure that's an entertaining match to watch."

Link nods, "it gets pretty intense sometimes. Which is why i typically take paya to either do some light tennis playing or to the golf field. Depending on what she decided to wear."

Ike nods, " you haven't talked about her much. she seemed a bit shy at the party, but i could be wrong."

Link nods, "well yeah she is super shy. A lot of things intimidate her and a lot of people assume she is an omega but she is actually a beta, thankfully. We are all over protective of her since she isnt the type to fight back. She..." link shrugs, "i dont talk about her much because she doesnt talk about me much. We both dont like the public eye on us so we dont talk about each other to other people much."

Ike nods, " must be tough for her, and that is fortunate. with her personality being an omega would be really dangerous. and i understand, you don;t have to talk about her with me, i get it."
