Ike sighs, " yeah i know... but i can;t afford healthier, and as i said, no time."

"Then i'll help! It doesn't sit right with me if i know you arent getting proper nutrition..."

Ike makes an unhappy sound, " you've got your own studies and such to deal with, i can;t ask that of you. plus even if you did spend the time cooking, i can;t afford much for ingredients. and i feel bad that you're already doing so much for me."

Link sighs and sets the book back, "i just want to help... i know you'd feel bad but, like, i feel bad if i know you're not eating well..."

Ike rubs the back of his neck, " well...if you have some spare time and want to, i suppose i can try and scrounge up enough money for actual ingredients. just lemme know what all you need, i'll do my best to get it. then you can come cook up a few meals i guess."

Link pouts, "i can pick up stuff.  20 bucks here or there isnt even a rain drop in the ocean, really.  I'll even keep a low budget of what i can and can't spend if it makes you feel any better... you cant blame me for not wanting someone to be hungry when it can be avoidable."

Ike makes a protesting noise, " i don;t go hungry, i eat. and i know it's not much to you but you still already have spent so much on me..."

Link sighs, "yeah... but... if our positions were switched you would probably want to help out too. Because you're a great guy. "

Ike blinks and blushes, " uh, yeah i guess you're right, i probably would."

Link looks up at ike and smiles,  "and you wouldnt do it because you pitied me, or you felt like you had to.  It would just be something that made sense to you,  right?  You have a surplus, and im lacking. So it would be a no-duh kind of feeling for you,  right? "

Ike rubs the back of his neck and grumbles, " yeah i guess so..."

Link nods,  "i wont kill myself,  or change my schedule to fit your needs but if i have a bit of time id love to make you something. "

Ike sighs, " alright alright you've got me...i'll let you help." he grins wryly at the other, " you should get a job as a lawyer."

Ike sighs, " well, unless you want to behave like the broke college student and cook from that book, you ought to put it back. was there anything else you wanted to look at in here?"
