Ike blinks and nods, " yeah.. right." he grabs his tray, " thanks." he heads back to the table and sits, taking a bite of his meal.

Link follows ike and sits down across from ike and starts eating his food, "so um... are you bored of the mall yet? We could do something else."

Ike blinks, swallowing his food before he responds, " if you want to, im good though. Oh! i wanted to tell you. what do you have planned next weekend?"

Link blinks before humming and pulling out his phone, "ummmm... it doesnt... say anything in my phone so im pretty sure im free."

Ike grins, " well then, how does swimming with dolphins sound then?"

[MissyLooni]

Link's eyes widen and he pauses mid chew and he slowly swallows, "are.... are you serious? Like, this isnt a joke, right?"

Ike laughs softly, the biggest shit-eating-grin on his face, " totally real. talked to my friend, and got it all set up."

Link shudders and forces down his food so that he can give a huge grin, "i... i dont know what to say.... that sounds like so much fun and i... oh gosh i... if this all ends up being a joke i will tell impa to kill you, you know that, right?"

Ike grimaces, " well, good thing it's not a joke then. i promise i'd arrange it and i did."

Link nods and fidgets in his seat, "dolphins! I cant believe it! I get to actually swim with a dolphin! When are we going? Morning, or maybe afternoon? Is it Saturday or sunday?! Oh gosh will i need a swimsuit or do they provide something special thats meant for the dolphins habitat? A dolphin! Ike i cant honestly believe that you got me to swim with a dolphin!"

Ike laughs softly, " morning, on sunday. people tend to be gone for church, so they work with the dolphins during the slow times. they'll have wetsuits for us, and we'll have to rinse off before we suit up and go in to remove any chemicals we might have on us. which will make putting the wetsuit on a pain in the ass, but it's what we need to do. the ones we'll be seeing are often used as therapy dolphins, so they're used to people and very good natured. But there's a new young female that we'll be working with as well, and we're being used to get her used to being around different humans than her trainers." he watches Link, enjoying the expressions of joy and excitement on the others face.

Link grins from ear to ear, his cheeks turning slightly pink from the strain of how much he's smiling, "i- im so excited!! Oh gosh, thank you! Thank you, thank you!! "

Ike laughs softly, " i knew you'd be excited. just keep that day open okay? now eat, you're just about bouncing out of your seat."

Link nods and happily goes back to eating, still bouncing a bit

Ike goes back to his meal, unable to hide occasional chuckles at Links excitement. He digs into his meal, closing his eyes as he enjoys the flavors.
