Link rubs his arm and clears his throat, "we still dont have a pool boy do we? I know the maids hate taking care of our pool all the time."

Impa blinks, " no, we have not hired a new pool boy. why?"

Link clears his throat, "i think.... it would be really good if ike was our pool boy."

[Namari]

Impa slowly raises an eyebrow, " and may i ask why you think this?"

[MissyLooni]

"The maids are tired of doing it since they sometimes get their uniforms wet with chemicals, everyone seems to want Ike around anyway since they want to know more about him, he's my friend, and working one really good job would be better than him working multiple jobs just to make rent when he also has to do well in EU to keep his scholarship. He's a very hard worker and extremely honest and he is my friend. Plus, if he's here then I'll want to be here more often which is what you guys want, right? It's a win-win."

Impa leans back and crosses her arms, " well, it seems you've thought this through. though most of those aren;t reasons why i would want to employ another person except perhaps the first one, i suppose i can take the boys circumstances into consideration. and i know the girls and Sheik would be pleased to have you around more... have you spoken with him about this or is this just your idea?"

Link rubs his arm, "I may have mentioned.... a few things. But i didnt want him to ask you about a job after that embarrassing conversation at the table. So i figured id beat him up here to say something to you first to avoid any mental trauma of that topic being brought up again."

Impa blinks then bursts out laughing, " well, that would certainly explain it! i agree, as entertaining as that conversation would have been, it's best to avoid misunderstandings. very well, i suppose we now have a pool boy. you can fetch him in."

Links face is slightly red when impa laughs.  He wanted to feel more embarrassed than he was but it was rare to see her laugh like that so he took it as a positive thing before nodding and going back to his cell phone, sheik, its safe for ike to come up now.

Sheik glances at his phone, " hey Ike, Links wants you inside."

Ike looks up from the car, hands covered in grease and a tool in his hand, " oh, right. well that should help anyway."

Sheik leads the way to Impa's office, the grease covered Ike following. Sheik grabs a towel on the way and tosses it to him, and Ike tries to scrub most of the grease off. Sheik opens the office door and shoves Ike in, who stands there shocked as the door closes behind him, " oh, uh. Hello miss Impa Links aunt ma'am. i um, was inquiring about a job?"

Impa raises an eyebrow at the grease, " yes... so i was told. you may begin as soon as you wish, i expect you here daily to clean the outdoor pool of debris, and to make sure the ph and chemical levels of both pools are ideal."

Link looks at ike, "i can show you around the pool so you can get familiar with it."

Ike nods, " yeah, sure."

Impa clears her throat, " also, i do expect some information on you young man. standard paperwork, your information, your current jobs and their wages, and do keep me up to date on when you have practices and games scheduled. obviously i don;t want to interfere with your sports since that is what provides your scholarship. i will have Sheik bring you the papers within the next few days."

Link cant stop smiling as the idea of ike only needing to work one job and can get paid well

Ike nods and heads out of the room, " wow she's intimidating, but at least she's nice to you guys. hopefully i can make enough here that i can cut back to just one of my other jobs."

Link smiles and follows ike, "dont worry. She's very reasonable. In truth, i wouldnt be here if it weren't for everything she's done for me."
