Soren snorts softly, "im just fine. Thanks. If you bring it i'll eat it but i'm not going to go out of my way to ask."

Sheik chuckles, " i simply presented it as an example. anyway i suppose i should stop bothering you, i know you're not fond of me. thank you for taking the papers, please see that Ike gets them."

Soren blinks and huffs, "dont make yourself sound so special. I dont dislike you because you're you. I dislike you because of your status. All rich people are the same and i dont trust them."

Sheik raises an eyebrow, " interesting. well some would say all hackers are the same, or all thieves as we know Sothe leans that way...regardless my family is willing to look past what you've done to survive. im not sure what exactly you think im going to do as a 'rich person' but presently my goal is to help your family since it makes my cousin happy. and making sure my family is safe and happy is my primary goal for just about everything."

Soren frowns, "and making sure ike is happy and healthy is my main concern. He may feel like you guys are different but that is only because is heart is open to just about anyone. Im not about to openly trust just because you give us food and ike a better job. "

Sheik snorts, " i never asked you to openly trust me, no questions asked. trust is earned, not freely given. however i am asking you to give me a chance to earn that trust. if you guys need something, just ask. you lose nothing by asking and stand to gain whatever it is you need."

Sheik raises an eyebrow again, " you could. but you don't strike me as someone who will make his family go through more hardship than they have to purely for your pride."

Soren hunches his shoulders and huffs, his face very lightly turning pink, "my family , correct. They come first. Especially Ike. Which is why im extra wary of you guys."

Sheik sighs and shakes his head, " well, the offer still stands regardless. have a good day." he turns and starts to walk off.

Soren pouts and huffs, mentally chastising himself for acting childish again. He didnt mean to be so rude this time around but he cant help it. They had only themselves for a long time so knowing ike was spending less time on himself and more time doing frivolous things scared Soren to no end. He sighs and watches sheik leave, making sure the other got to his bike safely.

Sheik gets onto his bike and makes sure his helmet is secure before taking off, heading back home. He'd delivered the papers, it was up to the alpha to get them filled out. He gets home and puts his bike away before heading in.

Ike soon finishes practice and heads home, hair damp from the quick shower with the rest of the guys to wash of the sweat. He gets into the apartment and plops onto the couch, he had a bit of time before his shift started and wanted to relax a bit.

Soren hears ike and sighs before going over to him, "Welcome back."

Ike looks over and smiles, " hey thanks. oof i think im gonna have a few bruises from practice. nothing too bad though, im just gonna chill for a few before i gotta get into my work uniform..."
