Ike chuckles softly, " well we'll see, i'd be happy if you did keep me on, but i never count on something like that. things change after all. but i'll do my best regardless."

link nods, "it is always good to have a plan B just in case." he finishes his homework and closes his book, sighing softly as he relaxes, "Finally done with my work."

Ike looks over and grins, " nice." and with him distracted the air filled toy he was pushing under the water to test it slipped from his grasp and smacked him fully in the face before he fell into the pool, popping up a moment later and laughing, " well shit, guess that's i get for not paying attention to what i was doing. oh well, i've done worse things than driven home in wet clothes before." he hauls himself back out and looks down at his soaked clothes ruefully.

Link had burst out laughing, tears in his eyes as he holds his sides. He takes a deep breath to calm himself down a bit before getting up and going over to him, "Yeah you're fully soaked alright. You wanna throw those in the dryer for a little bit? I dont think anyone here has clothes that can fit you but you could always take a shower and hang out with a towel while you wait. at least i know the pool boy speedo fits ya."

Ike chuckles, " yeah i guess that's probably the best idea. i appreciate it. im just gonna rinse off and get changed into that speedo then until these are dry." he heads into the pool shower, peeling the drenched clothes off and wringing the majority of the water out before setting them aside and washing off, putting the slightly damp from the pool work he did earlier speedo on and then wrapping a towel around his waist to preserve some sense of modesty. He comes out with the wet clothes, " thanks again...that was stupid of me."

Link does his best to give a smile and not stare at ike's body, "oh-its alright!  We all do stupid things from time to time. Let me show you to the laundry room so we-"
Link had taken a step back, eyes fighting to not stare at ike instead of paying attention to how close he was to the pool. His old, worn flip flops that had seen better days and had no traction managed to slip on the soaked tiles that surrounded the edge of the pool and before he knew it he too fell into the pool,  giving a surprised yelp before his back hit the water

Ike chuckles with him at the start until he glances over and sees Link slip, instantly leaping forward and diving into the pool, the towel falling off with the movement. He grabs Link and helps him up and out of the pool, " are you okay?"

Link was clinging to ike as he was rescued.  He knew how to swim and could have gotten himself out if needed be, but the shock of falling in made it quite difficult to think rationally. He shuddered, feeling cold and huffed, "i- im fine! Just feel like a drowned rat..."

Ike snorts, " looks like it's a bad day for staying out of the pool." he carefully helps Link out of the pool before climbing out himself.

Link's clothes clung to his small frame and as he crawled back onto the tile he couldn't help but stare ike's drenched body and the way the speedo practically shined from being wet, the fabric almost looked tighter as it barely covered ike's goods and services

Ike is more focused on grabbing a few towels to notice, " i suppose i should run and and get someone to help get you some dry clothes and whatnot." he wraps towels around Link, the water was cold. " i'll be back in a minute." he uses a towel to dry off quickly, mostly focusing on his legs and feet so he didn;t track water inside before heading into the house, " Hey! hello can anyone hear me?"

A maid nearby comes out from a hallway, feather duster in hand from doing her job. She blinks and her eyes widen when she sees ike, her face turning bright red, "u-uh ye-yes? You uh- you were the new poo-pool boy, yes?"

Ike nods, " yes, um can you have a set of clothes sent to the pool for Link? im afraid he slipped and fell in. he seems unharmed but he's soaked."

The maid nods, "yes right away! " her face still bright red as she hurries up the main flight of stairs.

Link decided that he'd rather not be in wet clothes and took off his shirt and pants so that he can properly dry with the towel

Ike nods and goes back to Link, blinking when he sees the other with his shirt and pants off. He flushes and quickly looks away, turning his body so hopefully Link doesn;t see his very defined manhood twitch partly to life, " uh, toss me a towel would you?"
