Ike comes in and blinks, " hey, good to see you up and out of your room." he grabs some clean clothing from his room and changes into it before setting the borrowed stuff aside, and his damp clothes into the hamper.

Soren shrugs and closes his laptop, "i decided some fresh air was tolerable for today. "

Ike chuckles, " well that's good anyway. how's work going?" he sits next to the other.

Soren blinks and sighs, "its going well. If anything a slight boost, however that was predetermined with holidays around the corner and everyone online shopping. Companies wanting to make sure that their sites are well protected and a scandal doesnt occur with weak security systems. What on earth was with that outfit is what i want to know."

Ike nods, " good. and what was wrong with the outfit? maybe i liked it." he teases. " well long story short while playing pool boy i might have fallen into the pool after i'd already gotten dressed. so my clothes were soaked, and they happened to have a staff member who kept spare clothes there that fit me so i borrowed those."

Soren snorts and shakes his head, "falling into a pool? Thats so like you. Thought I'd never see you in khaki cargo shorts. Pockets for days with those things."

Ike laughs, " yeah not exactly my usual style. anyway i might take a leaf from that guys book and bring a spare set to leave there, not that i have much that way but i'll swing by the goodwill and scrounge up something cheap. better than riding a motorcycle home in wet clothes when the temps are dropping."

Soren shrugs, "you could always use a small chunk of cash that the rich kid hid around here to buy the clothes. It can still be cheap if you want but as long as you're working at their place it would almost make sense to use his money. Call it a business expense if you will. He might even get a bit huffy to know you spent it for your job then using it any other way." He opens his laptop again, typing in his ridiculous password, "just a thought though."

Ike snorts, " kind of an amusing one, though im not going to waste money on new clothes when i can buy the exact same stuff for a fraction of the price. that would just be stupid. but fair point, i could probably use some more pants and shirts, and of course i gotta get my boxers new, i do have standards." he grabs a couple twenties and tucks them in his pocket, " need anything while im out?"

Soren waves his hand dismissively, "im fine. thank you though."

Ike shrugs, " alright. don't get sunburnt." he heads out to the nearest thrift store, getting a few sets of 'new' clothing.

Soren snorts softly when ike leaves,  muttering softly to himself about needing to actually be outside for that to happen.

Ike gets his stuff and heads home, prepared for his next day at work at the mansion.

a couple of months pass with no real change in routine, the months getting colder as halloween approaches, zelda finished getting her costume on along with link as they get ready to head out.

Ike is in the driveway, having decided to ride with them so he actually gets in the party, wearing a plaid shirt and jeans with a roll of brawny paper towels under his arm to show who he's dressed up as.
