Link huffs, a slight smell of distress fills the air, "Ike. Please. Let me do this. I-... I want to make sure you're okay. You really fucking scared me back there, ya know? At least talk to the doctor before you make any rash decisions..."

Ike blinks and slowly lowers himself back down, " wow, you're serious about this huh?"

Links eyes water slightly and he lowers his head a little, "i... I am very serious ike. I haven't left your side since you've been in here and i..." He blushes a little before huffing, "I may have realized what my feelings towards you are..."

Ike blinks and blushes, " oh, uh. just to be absolutely clear, are those feelings um, good ones?"

Link nods, "I apologize for how your original confession  ended. I understand that sheik was trying to protect me, and yeah, I wasn't really in my correct mind but I am now and I still remember what you said. I- if you're still... you uh..." Link rubs the back of his head, "I uh... accept your feelings if you... " Link feels his courage and steam slowly leave him, his face getting redder and redder as he rambles, feeling more and more embarrassed.

Ike blushes, " well uh, this wasn't exactly the setting i had in mind but um, it would make me extremely happy for you to accept that confession, as ill thought out as it was." he rubs the back of his head and winces, " ow."

Link gently takes ike's hand away from his head and sighs, "try not to touch your head or you'll mess up the bandages. Let's get a doctor here real quick so he can just give you a quick assessment, okay? Maybe some more pain management as well. And yeah, it was ill thought out but that's kinda why I like you." He grins before getting up and going over to the door and peaking his head out. He spots a nurse and quickly let's her know that ike is up.

Ike chuckles softly, " well im glad it was my stupid charm that won you over." he lets Link fuss over him, staying put.

Link comes back over to ike with the doctor, making sure to stay out of the way

the doctor checks ike over, and nods, "How are you feeling ike? you were pretty banged up when you came in."

Ike chuckles, " i mean, kinda feels like i got hit by a truck, but otherwise im feeling pretty good."

the doctor nods, "you're very lucky that your wounds can be healed properly at home, however we would like you to stay for one more day now that you're up since you're head was injured. after that as long as you're still feeling okay we can send you home to recover. Just make sure you get plenty of rest and take it easy. okay?"

Ike nods, " sure thing doc. to clarify, does plenty of rest and take it easy mean i can;t work?"

the doctor nods, "what is your occupation?"

Ike coughs, " uh, stockboy, drive through cashier, poolboy, and hauler of furniture. " he chuckles softly.

The doctor hums softly, "a jack of all trades then. Cashier and pool lboy I'd give it a week. Stock and furniture? A full two weeks. Mainly anything to do with heavy lifting. Your ribcage took some damage although thankfully it's more cartilage damage than bone so that will heal up quickly as long as you actually rest for a week and then take it easy for another week." He grins and shrugs, "it does appear you have one thick noggin since the MRI scan we took showed no damage to your brain and no fluid build up. You got incredibly lucky with that."
