Link sighs in defeat and stands still, "...fine...."

Impa sighs, getting up and carrying the box over. she gently takes it out and carefully fits it onto Link, watching him for any signs of being triggered or discomfort, " you know im only trying to look out for you, i know you really like this one, and i just don;t want the fact that you two seem a bit too compatible to cause you more trouble. i love you and want you to be happy."

Link does his best to keep himself composed, although he did tremble every so often.
Admittedly the fit wasnt as bad as it used to be when he was forced to wear one as a kid but the fact that he knew someone was putting a collar on him at all was making his hair stand on end and his anxiety could be smelled.
"a-a shame I couldnt just smell like shit. that would keep an alpha away..."

Impa steps back when she's done, " how's that? and i highly doubt you want to keep this one away." she chuckles, then hums softly, " smell bad... hm, something to cover an omega's scent glands... worth looking at. i'll mention it to our design team."

link sighs softly and hesitantly moves his head and neck around to test the movement, "it's.... obviously not the worst collar on my neck. Can i take it off now?" he looks at impa and sighs, "And yeah. A patch that can go over the gland like how some people have nicotine patches on their arms. only this would be on the neck gland and when an alpha scents or something before they normally bite the patch will react and release an awful odor that could knock a buzzard off a gut wagon."

Impa nods, " yeah you can take it off, thank you for trying it at least. i'll look into that i promise, just try and be careful in the meantime?"

link quickly scrambles to get the collar off and he sets it on the table before nodding and heading to the door, "of course, ike and I have been doing our best to behave. "

Impa nods, " i know, but seriously, have that on when you're home with him. i know you two don;t intend to get carried away but things happen!"

"Things sure do happen! Bye!" He rushes out the door to get to the hospital

Impa sighs as she watches him bolt out, well i guess i'd better take that idea to the development team, i just hope i can get something in time..."

Link runs to his van and heads off to the hospital to see ike

A nurse has already delivered ike's breakfast

Ike's wolfing down his food, making it quickly vanish.

the nurse is still in the room as she bats her eyelashes at ike, "Oh my, you sure can put away food~ do you need more?"

Ike glances up, "that'd be great. i think you've got something in your eye though."

the nurse pauses briefly, dumbfounded by ike's comment before she just smiles again, "O-oh sure, um, thanks but my eye is fine though. Maybe after I get you some more food you could give me a cream pie?"
