Orion frowns but nods, not wanting to cause trouble, "okay... just... be careful. Okay?"

Ren nods, heading to the stall where the lady squints, " so you came back."

Orion nods and bows politely, smiling, "Im ready for more work, ma'am~!"

She nods and starts directing him, not bothering with pleasantries.

Ren heads to the docks and gets onto the ship, getting to work.

Orion does what he's told, making sure to keep everything nice and tidy as he works

The day goes quickly, Ren working hard and not slowing down too much from his lack of sight. once the day is done he earned a bit less than before but still a hefty sum for his unique abilities. He heads to the stall tired and ready to eat and sleep.

Orion is getting everything packed up neatly, making sure that the store is clean and wiped down so getting it ready in the morning is faster

The woman sees Ren and shoos Orion off, handing him his pay before finishing the last bits herself.

Ren chuckles, " ready to call it a night?"

Orion quickly waves goodbye to the old lady before looking at ren and smiling, "yeah! Lets get you to bed." He takes rens hand

Ren chuckles and nods, " food first, but yes." he heads back to the place they were staying, glad to let Orion lead and guide him instead of straining himself to sense where he was.

Orion happily gets to their temporary space, humming softly, "how was your day? "

Ren hums, " it was fine. swimming blind is always somewhat unnerving, but i managed to still a get a lot done. i will be happy when this starts to peel off and i can get it all off though." he scratches at his face, trying to catch the edge of his skin at his lip and seeing if it'll pull up, failing and giving up.

Orion frowns and nods, "Is there anything i can do to help you? Could like, oil or something help loosen your skin shed?"

Ren chuckles softly, " no, if we tried to force it off now it would damage the new skin underneath. once it starts to peel on it's own you can help me take it off, but until then i simply have to wait. thank you though."

Orion nods and sighs, "Alright. I'm sorry if i get annoying with... asking you if you're okay constantly. Your condition is very new to me and I just want to make sure you're okay..."
