Orion hums softly, "its... actually easier for me. Than torque's ship that is. "

Ren raises an eyebrow, " really? interesting." he glances down at their hands, " it does not bother me, however i am curious why you seem to always wish to hold hands with me."

Orion blinks and stops walking, "ah.. im... i guess im unsure. Is it alright if i keep doing it? Its nice knowing that you're at an arms length if i need you."

Ren nods, " i don't mind. i was simply curious. it was a good way before to make sure we did not get separated, so i suppose it's habit now."

Orion hums, "i suppose.... that does make sense." He smiles and goes back to walking

Ren hesitates before he speaks again, " although i should warn you. again, it does not bother me, however holding hands is often considered an affectionate and familiar act. as we are clearly not family, it is quite possible many will assume we are lovers. i do not care what others think of me, however i simply wish you to be aware."

Orion blinks and stops, looking at ren, "oh... should i... should i not hold your hand then?"

Ren chuckles, " only if you mind what others think. i know who i am, and what others assume does not change that. so if you wish to continue, i do not mind."

Orion frowns, "i... i dont understand. Would it be harder to get me home if people assume such things?"

[Namari]

Ren tilts his head as he considers it, " i am unsure. some races are very against same gender relationships, however i did not get the impression that these people were like that. i could be wrong of course. it is possible it could affect you getting home, but i do not think it is likely."

Orion frowns before bringing his hands to the lower hem of his shirt, fiddling with the fabric, "i guess.... just to err on the side of caution... i can stop holding your hand."

Ren nods, " if that is what you think is best. i can see about working the question of if it would be an issue into a conversation with one of the crew at some point, that way we will know for certain."

Orion shakes his head and looks away, "I-its fine- you really dont have to."

Ren raises an eyebrow, " the information is not simply for the hand holding. things such as that can tell a lot about the people. i will be trying to learn about their habits and such anyway, to see if they are really as they claim to be."
