Sally goes over to the status screen and studies it, " things look fairly stable all things considered."

Ren starts fumbling with his suit, trying to get things off.

ina, now having a free hand, runs over to ren and helps him out of the space suit.

tai starts the scanner, "alright, im starting the scanner soon. hopefully it should show us what is going on."

the machine glows a little and makes a soft whirring sound every now and then as it performs its unique task

the computer display screen automatically powers on and soon a live feed of the inside of orions body is on screen, and as soon as the pod makes a soft alarm that oxygen levels dipped tai moves the camera to the galakins chest.

you can see his ribs, his blood being pumped throughout the body and his lungs, along with the breathing device, doing their job.

Ina glances over at the screen and squints at the weird shape in his chest, "What is that? Where is his heart?"

Tai hums, "Well...this shape is similar to uh..." she glances at the jewels that are still orbiting around the pod before continuing, "it appears that this jagged thing is supposed to be in him."

The pod makes more distress sounds of his oxygen levels dropping and his heart rate increasing.

Ren looks over in alarm, " what? how do we get that in him where it needs to be then?!"

[MissyLooni]

Tai squeaks softly and looks at ren,  "it- it is in him. I was just letting the captain know that this thing is normal to be inside him. Admittedly we don't know enough about galakins to know what's good or bad..."

Ren's tail lashes, " oh, i thought you meant these things were supposed to be in him." he reaches out to touch one of the jewels, " how do we help him?"

[MissyLooni]

Tai shakes her head, "these were already stars and they are rock hard. The computer shows that what is in him is some sort of... membrane."

The jewel that ren touches stops orbiting and rests against the basilisks hand and a very soft feminine voice echoes in rens head, "please.... my son... help him. Sector 4.... fountain..."

Ina goes over to the computer screen and sighs, "well... from what I see this blue stuff seems to be his blood. He must have internal bleeding somewhere. I can't see his heart since he has this thing in his chest but I can only assume that must be the issue if his heart is working harder to push his blood throughout his body."

Tai looks up at Ina and makes a soft worry squeak, "then we should get him to a doctor! An actual doctor! Internal bleeding is serious!"

Ren blinks, looking around and noticing he seems to be the only one hearing the voice, " uh, you are probably going to think i am insane, but this rock says that Orion is it's son and he needs to get to the sector 4 fountain."

[MissyLooni]

Ina and Tai look at ren, glance at each other and sally before looking back at ren.

Ina raises an eyebrow, "you are correct... I do suddenly think you may have inhaled some space dust."

Tai whines softly, "but... I doubt ren has been in sector 4's capital planet where the other galakin is and that galakin DOES have a fountain that he bathes in. "

Sally hums and peers at the other jewel, " well who knows, Galakins are strange beings, perhaps these are the remains of other galakins. That information is too specific for him to just make it up. but how would we get the kid in there?"

[MissyLooni]

Tai sighs, "well... the fact that these jewels... and the thing in orions chest are very similar must have something to do with it..."

Ina paces a bit before rubbing her head, "she looks at ren for a brief moment before looking at sally, "let's just say that our plan is to get orion to that fountain, hypothetically. We know that the governing leader of Sector 4 is Kraigt and not only do they owe us for that little mishap on their tesserect planet  but Kraigt is a disgusting pervert so getting on the capital planet and talking to him will be a distraction as it is. He loved talking to you and coco unfortunately. "
She looks at ren, "could you shift to make yourself a little thinner and then hide orion under some armor or something? Tai could lead you to the fountain while Kraigt is distracted."

[Namari]

Sally makes a face, " right. well, i suppose i can put on an act to save the kid. lemme see what i have in my wardrobe that shows a bit more skin without being obvious about it. that'll really keep him distracted."

Ren nods slowly, " i can do that."

Ina nods before looking at Tai, "can you freeze the pod? It'll take us a few hours to get to sector 4 and if the kid is bleeding out we're going to need some extra time."

Tai nods and starts working on it

Sally sighs, " ugh, im going to have to deal with that creep trying to paw at me... everything looks good for the freezing process." she looks at the screen.

Ren sighs and sits back on his heels to watch Orion within the pod, " i am counting on you all."

ina looks at ren and nods, "if that jewel that talked to you is correct in where we need to go then we'll do everything to save him."

the glass on the pod quickly frosts up as the pod begins to freeze

tai hums softly as she pulls away from the computer, "thankfully that fountain has a distinct and awful smell that can lead me right to it. ah but im not... .very fast..."

Ren's tail lashes, " it is alright, if it has a distinct scent i may be able to identify it myself when we get near and be able to follow it. otherwise i could likely move quickly carrying you both."
