Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Aki blinks and frowns, "The potions are supposed to taste bad? " He hesitantly takes a couple of berries and shrugs before popping one in his mouth, "Berries seem fine to me."

Satoshi shakes his head, " it's not that they're supposed to, it's just that human taste buds seem to be different than pokemon ones. for example, that berry you just ate is so spicy that normally i'd use just a pea sized shred of it to add flavor and spice to a large soup pot. that whole berry would render the batch inedible unless you enjoy feeling like your innards are liquefying from how spicy it is. and yet you just ate it without any bother."

Aki pauses mid bite, "okay, now im starting to feel weirded out..." he swallows and frowns, "its supposed to be spicy??? Its only ever tasted a bit warm but very nutty. Its nice. "

[Namari]

Satoshi laughs softly, " well i suppose that explains why so many pokemon enjoy it. i guess they don;t experience the flavors the way humans do. and it seems you have that sort of taste buds. at least if you decide to live on a berry diet you could do so cheaply, there's not many fit for human consumption but you can eat any of them."

Aki pauses briefly before looking at Satoshi, "I suddenly.... wanna try a bunch of them and tell you what they taste like. But if I did that im sure my system would hate me for eating all these berries."

[Namari]

Satoshi chuckles, " well im sure we'll have plenty of time for that. as we travel i bet we'll find wild berries. we were just in a hurry to get to where we were going so we took the quickest way."

[MissyLooni]

Aki smiles and chuckles, "Alright, I guess I have to be a bit more positive about my situation. At least drinking potions gives me a faster heal time- OH. WHAT WOULD A REVIVE DO?!" He pauses slightly, blinking before making a face, "dont think I wanna hurt myself that bad to find out. Or a pokeball. Would a pokeball work on me? ooooo.... i dont want to try that out either."

Satoshi laughs softly, " yeah lets avoid those. a revive... well im guessing it would just restore your vitality. guess if it gets that desperate i'll have to try it. as for the pokeball, some pokemon will refuse to be caught, so unless you're totally knocked out i'd think you could fight it, assuming it works."

[MissyLooni]

Akihito chuckles, "Dont let me get knocked out then." He sits up and gently touches his head again, smiling when there's no soreness

Satoshi frowns, " i know you feel better but take it easy."

[MissyLooni]

Aki rubs the back of his head and gives a soft chuckle, "Dont worry, I wont be doing anything too crazy. Just gotta pee. Not used to having an IV full of fluids being pumped into me."

Satoshi nods and helps him up and to the bathroom, " let me know if you need anything."

Aki blinks when satoshi helps him, blushing a bit since he wasnt expecting to be helped, "ah uh tha-thanks." He closes the door and begins using the bathroom

Satoshi sits back down to wait until he's done.

Aki finishes and washes his hands before opening the door and stepping out, "ah man im exhausted. Think its safe for me to take the longest nap in the world?"
