Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Sato blinks, " what, the rooms or the tournament? i mean, it was all an experience, including getting badges. it brought me and my pokemon closer as a team. but there's more than one way to bond with pokemon."

[MissyLooni]

Aki snorts softly and grins, "the rooms of course. Tournaments aren't all that special. "

[Namari]

Satoshi snorts in amusement, " well, the last one i was in was pretty lavish, probably twice the size of this one, and with a ton of perks. huge beds, 24 hour room service, hot tub in the room, electronic massage chair. and that's just in the room itself. there was a bar the trainers could use, actual massage beds and people to give you professional massages, a big pool, training rooms, everything and anything to keep their champions happy and in top shape. they spent a lot keeping us happy as the matches went on longer, to keep us from burning out i guess. they must make a killing off ticket sales and such to want to put that much into the trainers to keep them fighting well. of course there were lots of amenities for the pokemon too, special rooms designed to be like their natural habits, specially prepared foods, the works. most trainers just let their pokemon have free run to unwind and relax, most of mine did too."

Aki hums and closes his eyes to imagine, smiling, "that sounds like it would be amazing... lucky for you."

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " though it only lasted as long as you were still in the contest. once i lost i was out."

[MissyLooni]

Aki nods, "yeah but at least you got to experience something that so few people do. Im impressed and a bit envious." He chuckles and sighs, "but i suppose i do have this hotel when things dont turn out so hot for me. It isnt nearly as great but its free and the staff are amazing so i cant complain."

Satoshi blushes and nods, " yeah, it was amazing. but hey, there's new champs every year, always chances to see that high life. i could probably get in there again if i decided to compete again, i think i'd have a pretty good chance. honestly that kind of fighting is for the youngsters in my opinion though, i had my run."

[MissyLooni]

Aki snorts and chuckles,  "youngsters? Pffft you aint old enough to get to use that word yet. Besides your pokemon do all the work so really it should depend on their age rather yours."

[Namari]

Satoshi snorts, " yeah, but frankly unless you have a calling to be a gym trainer or such, only really those who are on their journey have the ambition for the league. My pokemon may still be in good condition, but we haven;t done any serious fighting in some time, not to mention pokemon put forth more effort when their trainers have passion for the fight as well. me, my fighting days for the sake of fighting are over, i don;t have that drive anymore. i'll fight, but i don;t seek it out to prove my strength. this journey is a good change of pace for us, but it's not like im going on my first journey again, things are different."

Aki blinks and sighs,  "yeah i suppose you would be correct in that sense. Just don't say the word youngsters. Feels weird hearing it outta your mouth. "

Satoshi chuckles, " compared to us they are youngsters. i started my journey at the standard 10 years old, that was 14 years ago. i know if i saw someone my age back then i would have thought of them as being old." he grins.

Aki snorts, "24 aint that old. Although you're right. Kids that age think anything over 15 is old."

[Namari]

Satoshi chuckles and nods, " yup. regardless as i said, if i hadn't already gotten my badges and such i can;t say i'd have the drive to do so now. anyway, it is what it is. Hopefully they get things sorted out soon."

[MissyLooni]

Aki nods, "i hope so too. Im not used to being in one spot for so long. " he gets up and boredly walks around the room. He really wished he could jack off. Or have sex. But it seemed impossible at the moment.

Satoshi nods, " im just not used to being idle for so long. we usually keep pretty busy at the ranch, never enough hours in the day to get everything that needs doing done. that's just how it goes though, feels weird to be sitting in here not getting anything done or being on the move."
