Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

[MissyLooni]

Aki's eyes slowly open and he blinks before yawning and stretching, "hey, you're back."

Lucario stirs a bit before waking up and he slowly sits up,  rubbing his eyes

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " yeah. no luck today, but that's just how it goes. you had dinner yet?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki shakes his head, "No, I passed out almost as soon as I came back. I wanted to show you!" He holds out the pokeball he was holding and lets out Dartrix, "We all practiced together and Rowlet evolved! It's been so long since one of them evolved that I forgot how exciting it was."

Dartrix flaps his wings briefly in excitement, also proud of himself

[Namari]

Satoshi blinks and smiles, " well that's awesome! good job Dartrix! well, we gotta go get something good for dinner to celebrate this one, your first pokemon evolving in years."

[MissyLooni]

Aki chuckles and picks up Dartrix and gets the pokemon on to his shoulder, "Dont feel obligated to. I guess I just... felt tired of letting them down. I'm still not great but I promised them that I would start working on it."

Dartrix chirps softly and rubs against Aki, letting him know that he never let any of them down

[Namari]

Satoshi snorts, " nonsense, you were just doing your best to protect them, you haven;t let anyone down. withe the shit we've dealt with lately, this is a good excuse to go out and have a good time. come on."

[MissyLooni]

Aki smiles and sets Dartrix down on the bed, "Alright, alright. Lucario, watch the room."

Lucario nods

[Namari]

Satoshi digs in his bag for a minute and pulls out a treat, setting it in front of the owl pokemon, " and here's your celebratory treat. good job." He grabs his wallet and heads for the door, " lets goooo."

[MissyLooni]

Aki makes sure he has everything he needs before heading out of the pokemon center, looking at satoshi, "so what place did you have in mind?"

[Namari]

Satoshi hums, " well there's only a couple good places in town that i know of, an Italian place and a Chinese place, plus a kind of weird new exotic fruit place but that's really new and im not sure how good it is. im up for anything, it's a celebration for you after all."

[MissyLooni]

Aki hums, "we can do the Italian place. Chinese you can find commonly and i already can eat a bunch of pokemon fruit so thats as exotic as it gets."

[Namari]

Satoshi snorts, " Italian it is." he heads out of the pokemon center and to the restaurant.

[MissyLooni]

Aki chuckles and happily follows satoshi, "hey so I've been thinking. We know some things about each other but we kinda skipped that awkward small talk that normally occurs. Like the classic list of favorites and all that shit. I know its a little late for it but i wouldnt mind getting to know you a little more besides the fact that you were almost a pokemon champ and that you work on your families ranch."

[Namari]

Satoshi blinks as he looks at Aki then chuckles, " uh, sure, why not? what do you want to know?"

Aki blinks and hums softly, "I guess....whatever you want to tell me? Umm... do you prefer a sunrise, or a sunset?"
